The design element by Xiaomi is next level. The phone is looking sleek and premium. Imo it is looking more premium than Fold 4. But that aside samsung is more practical and with good UI experience, although way more expensive.
Also I am interested how long does the battery last in Xiaomi? Considering it is so slim.

In my opion fold 4 is better, I am using one and it seems more practical, IP rating is must for a country like India, S pen is mandatory for IT businessmen like me, and the software experience is our of the world. Lastly, the ecosystem with watch and buds.

MIUI is not a go to experience. Even after locking the app, using No battery restrictions and enabling auto restart, it closes all apps irrespective of settings. I often used to keep multiple apps open on my samsung phone, but after buying xiaomi phone, I regularly get frustrated because I keep some apps open to look at it later, but the app gets out of the recent screen and everything is cleared from memory.
I'll choose One UI again, when I'll need to upgrade.

Future is: a thin phone which seems like normal phone but it can unfold 2-3 times and can become a tablet or a small laptop with on screen folded keyboard.

i am using samsung fold4 and i can say foldable phones are great .i have iphone 14 pro max too but most of time i use fold . dont need tab secondary , big screen is nic to use social media apps u can use multi screen two apps one time . there are so many great specs once u use foldable phone u dont like other normal one

I think in the case of front display samsung made it less practical because people would use the front display more often then the main display and the lazyness of us would never open it to use in full display , si i think samsung is doing it right

I laugh at reviewers comparing Xiaomi to Samsung. I mean Xiaomi is a great brand and I admire devices however the experience like ui, camera, privacy, software support, brand value, accessories support (which no reviewer ever talks about),etc etc I don't think comes close to Samsung.

The Ui still looks not optimised well.. some what sluggish… can’t even compare with Samsung’s Foldable integration. But if they launch at around 60-70k its value (better at 55k)

Xiaomi phones heats up quickly & doesn't cool even if put in front of AC. The older the phone the more the heat. Battery swells up. My usage is for youtube & songs with occasional photos still I have this issues from last 1.6 yrs.

The issue with Chinese phones are the long term support. The Chinese brands dont provide good support let it be like in regards to software update or aftersales support. That is where brands like samsung, apple etc shines.

Samsung is a tough competition because their software is amazing. User experience and updates are also good. I don't know but samsung premium phones are most reliable phones after apple. If you ar buying a premium phone then user experience or software will be your first priority. It's worth the price. But budget phones are definitely better of Xiaomi.
