    How could you give him up? I hope his new owners appreciate how special he is...Roy Rodgers, and the original Trigger are smiling from heaven.

    I love your videos! I just purchased a weanling filly and I am highly considering sending her your way for a few months when she gets of riding age! My goal is to do the Ranch events with her.

    Hi I’m interested in teaching my horse liberty!!! I was wondering what kind of methods you use as well as teaching horses to lay down for mounting and dismounting. FYI I love your training methods! Whenever I am looking for an answer you guys have it!❤️

      Thank you so much, Emersyn!
      I would highly recommend looking up Dan James or Ariana Sakaris. I know how to teach some liberty stuff to horses who want to participate, but I don't consider myself to be an expert on the topic in any sense.
      Those guys have it down to a science. It's incredible, and Dan's clinics are well worth the investment to attend.

    I would love it if you could do a video on how to get your horses to side pass to you just from moving your hand!

      Teaching a horse، riding a horse and have an excellent relationship with a horse are all an art. You have told me that you are a phenomenal artist in this Arena. I only have one question: can you teach an old dog a new trick? Thank you sincerely for this awesome video and God bless

    How is this Liberty riding when you are using spurs??? I thought the whole point of Liberty was to take force out of the equation & ride WITH a horse using gentle cues & by developing a relationship with a horse instead of forcing it. But using spurs in that sensitive belly seems so unnecessary & cruel.

    • @zacharias.horsemanship
      @zacharias.horsemanship Год назад +2

      Well, you thought wrong. This horse isn't being forced to do anything. Also, horses are a lot tougher than you think they are, this horse is definitely not in pain when he feels a spur on him, and all the cues ARE gentle. And lastly, contrary to the common, very uneducated assumption, liberty is not magic like the movies make it out to be. It's a discipline just like any other equestrian discipline and takes an incredible amount of training and mental focus from the horse to do anything worthwhile.
