    I am always amazed that a snake's lungs can function when ingesting such huge prey items. The kindergarten looks excellent!

      Yes, it is amazing. But you probably know that in most snakes only one lung is functioning 🙂 There is simply not enough space for both being large. Zuzana is happy that you like the kindergarten!

    What a fun place to go to school! And a nature class right there too. I was amazed after 3 hours the grass snake kept going. Did you go back the next day to see how the digestive process was going?

    Zdravím krásné záběry tahle ropucha se ještě nafukuje viděl jsem to u Bufo viridis jediný Heterodon má na žabu obranu že ji propíchne tohohle hada už jsem si choval v roce 1990 a nikdy se nesnažil kousnout i když je mírně jedovatý díky s pozdravem Petr.

    3:37 The toad isn’t fighting, it looks like it’s trying to help the snake by pushing itself into the snakes mouth

    • @LivingZoology
      @LivingZoology  2 месяца назад

      It is trying to inflate its body and it hopes that the snake will not be able to swallow it. That’s the only strategy there.
