    If anyone else is struggling with this, you are not alone! Can you relate to this?

    Well, you're a stronger man than I, Tom Sweeney! I have stuff in my cart ready to pay for, even before I've received my previous order. I have tried even staying off the site and did so for about four days, too! It didn't work, though. Now, before I even get up for work, my phone 'dings' with a new Temu message. This at around 6am. The latest has been them now starting off the message with "Dear Sweetheart - we have something that we know you will love."!!! "Sweetheart"? Huh? !!! Now, I'm afraid to turn off these dinged/danged notifications as I feel that I'll be hurting their feelings! I did make an especially grievous mistake, too. I have to admit it was my own fault. An item appeared on my "might be interested list". I won't say what it was - I just couldn't believe that it was for sale - in the open - on the site. Of course, being curious, I clicked on it, basically just to see if any guys had left any reviews. They sure did, too, and were all too happy to describe the benefits that they'd derived from the "product". All well and good for those unfortunates. But, I quick-exited that page and figured that was the end of that. Nope. Now, I get a whole different type of items presented that I could add to my cart. I can only hope, as I basically am checking for household/kids and car stuff, that those suggestions will soon disappear. Fingers crossed. I have to admit - you can't beat the motion detector lights as they are awesome. And I've picked up some more of those electronic "pulse lighters". I was so happy with mine, that I'd picked on some for my brother and two friends. The $5 refund if a delivery time is late helps/doesn't help either. After all, why waste $5 and NOT make another order? Yup, very addictive.

      @Forever Toons, Addictive indeed, I hear you man! I too almost always have more stuff in my cart even the same day after I put an order through. Especially when you see that message that says, you can still add items to your order before it ships...or the Gift Boxes with more coupons and discounts, I can't stay away 😂 As far as your unfortunate accidental inundation of certain items in your suggestions, I've noticed that too, after just clicking on an item to view the description or whatnot, you get bombarded with the same or similar genre items. Now you just have to start clicking on boring house, car stuff or tools or kitchen gadgets to try and reset the algorithm LOL. A lot of great finds though. Thanks for watching!

    You are heading towards the one month mark, so I have to ask... did you relapse yet? If you have I am disappointed. Disappointed that you did not share your haul with us.

    My sister and I are also addicted. I think I'm worse than her .. the struggle is real! It's especially hard when you have credits on your account! I've received credits on two different orders that I'd already received, I reached out to them both times to let them know that I've received all the orders I've placed (with the exceptions of orders on the way). They thanked me, told me to keep the credit as well as all the product. Yup, placed another order both times .. bad, bad girl ...

      @Sylvia Lee Lohr, yes the struggle is real! Yeah those credits get you. I've had a few items I requested return/refund...Bam those credits hit my account and wouldn't you know it, I already have like 5 things in my cart within minutes😂

      @@sweenz27 I seriously loved it! :D You have a great sense of humor. It was extra special to me because I do go to a 12-step group and I told my son the other day that I need to join one for Temu. 😄

    I am also an addict to Temu! I need to get my own debt card so my my husband won’t know how much I spend

    • @sweenz27
      @sweenz27  Год назад

      @MamaK Arbury, I hear you! You don't need to go to that trouble though. The trick is, you just need to get buy-in from your husband. You need to present it in a way that looks good and benefits everyone. Example: Trying to save money? "Hey, look what I found that's cheaper than what we usually buy at the other store, I'm gonna put an order in, do you need anything?" What is your husband into? Does he like grilling, camping, EDC (every day carry), car accessories, shoes, tech, gadgets, tools, sports, cooking - find a category he likes and get him something and be like, oh you would love all this other stuff TEMU has...LOL. You might just get him hooked as well 🤣
