@@DJPLAYNICE yea... eyesight eventually catches up to you... I like the Bolle IRI-S its hard to beat that type of protection for the price and still have a decent-looking eye pro! Thanks for watching!
Just picked up the prescription version of the Wiley x Vapor that comes with clear black and rustic lenses off RXSafety. Looking forward to the usage in the range. Though I wish they had an option for polarized lenses. Only gives you an anti glare coat option.
I'm with you brother. I am such a sissy when it comes to my eyes and finally broke down and invested in some prescription eye protection. I was on their website last week and found that you can get any of their regular glasses in prescription. I priced some up and laughed when it was over $600! Thanks for watching.
I just got a prescription for those inserts. First impression is they are bit small and the two layers including the actual frame affects the clarity a bit. However, I hope they will be less of a hassle compared to contacts (they dry my eyes out). Going to the range to test them this weekend.
It took me a few sessions to get used to the RX insert. They are smaller but since they are closer to your eye than regular glasses, They need to be smaller. Let me know how they work out for you.
How did they turn out for you? I've been sticking to regular eyeglasses, but I've stopped after I got a casing lodged between my glasses and cheekbone, leaving a burn mark that's still here after months.
Thats a good question. I have been debating on getting one of the inserts with a progressive lens just for shooting. I might do that on my next perscription refill.
Hey brother. Could I bother ya to ask what ballpark your prescription might be in? I've searched high and low for some ansi rated glasses that will fit my high Rx prescription and I'm really hoping these will fit the bill.
What eye protection are you wearing on the range? Sound off in the comments below and lets compair notes!
Bolle Iris. Inexpensive with good ANSI rating. Will need prescriptions soon enough. 😖

I’m so gonna get me a pair of these for the competition season, thanks for showing us this!!!
I have a review coming out on @gear-report soon on these as well that goes into how I rated them. Thanks for watching brother!

I just got mine today and they are totally awesome 😊
But my advice is to but another pair if you don't want go to the hassle on changing the lenses 🎉😎
That is exactly what I did!

They are best especially I have used it during the pandemic on 2020 at my job in the supermarket 😊
did you ever get used to the prescription insert being close to eyes
I did get used to them. Would prefer them a little farther. But they dont freak me out anymore
@@TheRogueBanshee i need a pair for airsoft im blind past 5m and my wiley x sg-1 just keep fogging no matter what
@@TheRogueBanshee would you reccomend them even if i didnt use the inset prescription
How much closer are the prescription lenses compared to normal?
About a 1/4 to 3/8 inch closer than my normal glasses
Can you get the insert with a bifocal?
Thats a good question. I have been debating on getting one of the inserts with a progressive lens just for shooting. I might do that on my next perscription refill.
Those lens inserts look small. Adding a bifocal would decrease the area you have for your distance vision.
For those people that have big eye lashes, the prescription lenses gonna be too close?
Possibly. It took a while for me to get used to it. If my eyelashes were longer, it is possible that they would touch the lenses
Really good video 👍🏽
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching!
rogue vs saber ?
I wait can't for mine 😊
good video !

I just got another pair. Let me see if I can find the receipt that I submitted to my HSA.
It looks like I paid about $145 for the Rogue and another $60 for my prescription lenses
@@TheRogueBanshee I think he was asking about your RX power prescription.
