It is a learning process to get good soil. I am still learning. Grass is a horrible enemy I fight too. Y'all are working hard and I pray God will bless your garden this year. You have a good variety of plants ❤🙏
So I can do a vegetable garden directly over a woven barrier. Gosh, I really had to hunt down this answer 😂. Thank you for sharing. Good videos. I’ll be watching more.
beans should be bought as seed and placed in rows. buy at your farm stores buy by the oz or pound save extra for the neighbors. you will sow every 4-7 days several long rows. pick a few times when it gets super hot pull the green beans plants and plant salad stuff. however for the dry bean varietys wait til the bean pods dry and the leaves wilt to shuck. snapping- frenching beans is a daily chore you should get several 5 gallon buckets full if you stagger the plantings over several weeks. you do salad greans- radishes- carotts etc after because beans strip the spil of nutrients. so stagger where you planted last year. we usually do tomatoes one year and green beans the next as the volume needed is astonishing for a family if you canner them up. dont be afraid to. fill several rows several yards every few days. neighbors ask for them they are a cheap howdy hello sharing crop when fresh.
WOW...we appreciate all your advice. We are always learning and want to keep learning everyday. Thanks so much for stopping by and sharing that. We really appreciate it! God bless.
I've learned from other YT channels that some of the bagged soil is contaminated. Check out Roots & Refuge and Perma Culture channels as they try to clean and heal their soil.

Don't you have a cross pollination problem with different types of tomatoes all together?
Good question.... In general, tomatoes are self-pollinating, so the odds of cross-pollination are slim. BUT YES, it can happen.
Thanks for watching.
