sadly, that's the result of living in a patriarchal society. women over 18 lose all their value, and the second we turn 20+ we are shriveled up hags. im trying to unlearn that thinking myself, i had panic attacks every day the month leading up to my 18th birthday because i was so scared of losing all my value as a person. im 19 now and still sometimes want to cry when i think about turning 20
