A good tip I learned while working at a flower shop, is to remove the stamens with that staining pollen as soon as each Lilly opens up. Otherwise it will stain clothing and textiles.
Dominique, I just discovered your makeup tutorials and am enjoying them very much. You are beautiful with or without makeup! I must say I'm a bit surprised by your floral technique. You should always cut your stems under water, and use a good pair of floral shears. It's especially important that you cut hydrangeas under water. My local hydrangea grower suggests using a vegetable peeler to shave off the lower 6-8 inches. The Japanese shears are the best...don't know if you can find them in Texas but they are common here in the Bay Area. You can also keep your floral water clear by adding a few drops of bleach to each vase. Changing the water at least every other day will prolong the life of your arrangements.

I just wanted to pass along a tip that I learned years ago for roses. It may work for others to, but I am not sure? When you cut them you should do so in water. Put your stem down in a bowl of water while you are cutting them and it will keep them from dropping. Apparently they droop because they get air in the stems. Hope this helps someone and you. Love your videos and you! You are beautiful inside and out. Please never change that! God bless!

I would love to see hydrangeas with the flowers that add great beauty to the arrangement for a living room. Living room is chocolate brown, cream and dusty rose. Table centre piece or plant stand , either is fine. Thank you Donna Peers. Your arrangements are beautiful.
