Backcountry Powder Ski // Faction La Machine Mega

A different kind of review. I prefer Christof do all the reviews but sometimes he's working at his real job. The majority of people that I ski with do not have dedicated backcountry powder skis. They are truly a luxury. However, if owning a pair of fat, soft snow, slope slayers is within your grasp then the Faction La Machine Mega is worth a look. As pointed out to me by the salesperson most skis work great in soft snow. But if you want something that can float, play, and hammer a slope then a pair of wide boards might be just the ticket. I loved my DPS Wailer 112 Tour RP and regretted selling them. That said, the La Machine Mega's are a worthy substitute. They are not only as floaty and playful as the DPS but they can charge a little harder in the open. ‪@TheFactionCollective‬
