Iowa deserves it tho. They don’t hardly play any one good in their conference and they never play anyone good outside the conference. Living in the Hawkeye state their fans were delusional and bought into the hype. How could you honestly ever think your team is the legit #2 team in the country with that horrible offense and no athletes?

@@stephenlang7870 grew up in Mount Pleasant just 45-50 minutes straight south of Iowa City. Also the only team in the Big ten that I know for sure has athletes at skill positions is OSU. Iowa doesn’t have the athletes to create space on the outside and never have. Heck Ferentz had Kittle for 4 years at Iowa and only managed to get 500 yards out of him. Maybe you do have some athletes every now and then but the coaching has definitely shown you don’t know how to utilize them.

I live and was born and raised in Louisiana. Im a HUGE LSU fan. You don’t have to win the National Championship every year but one thing we WILL NOT tolerate is losing to non SEC schools. It should never happen. We are in the most talent rich area in the world. We are the most talent rich state per capita than anywhere on the planet by a mile.

The head coach in college football is probably the most volatile position in American sports.
30% of this segment each week feels like who is going where, whats open and what is the best job. I don't even like College ball and i find them interesting talking about people I don't know and schools i barely hear about in my daily life lol.(i live in Hawaii so not much college talk out here about Bama or LSU)

I find the hypocrisy hilarious the way Colin talks about Iowa and how being undefeated doesn’t mean anything, yet he had the Denver Broncos #4 after week 3 because they beat 3 teams that hadn’t won a single game.
Being undefeated in the nfl is completely different to being undefeated in college lol
@@jakeloughman8168 safe to say Colin was definitely wrong on his Broncos take. I think everyone had their doubts on Denver before they even were considered a “top 5 team.”

Tucker would be smart to stay in East Lansing. He's already one of he highest paid coaches in the country at MSU. Top 15 or something. He'll have complete control and power at MSU. He has job security.. Go 8-4? Good job coach! 8-4 at LSU? PEACE. You can win a natty and your job still is less secure than it is at MSU.
I mean if they double his salary or whatever then yeah he's gonna go and he should.... but that's a big risk for LSU. We haven't even seen Mel head coach 2 complete seasons yet.....

Colin’s take on Iowa is just egregious. It’s almost like the games work itself out. Iowa lost so they aren’t number 2 anymore. If a team has weaknesses there will be a team that exploits it. But winning has to matter and on-the-field results have to matter. Good on Joel to shut that take down right away.

What total nonsense that USC gets a walk in the Pac-12. UCLA beat them 8 straight when Terry Donahue was coaching. This isn't 1969.
USC is a historically much stronger football program then UCLA with much more success in the conference and nationally. The eight victories you are referring to happened in the 90s and are about as relevant as 1969 for practical purposes. In the last 20 years UCLA has only won like 5 times and USC leads the series 48-32. The only reason it has been recently competitive is because USC is a mismanaged dumpster fire right now, not because the programs are equal in brand strength.

In regards to Colin's dislike of Iowa being #2. Assume Mahomes, Kelce, and hill all got hurt, and then lose the rest of their games. Colin would argue the Chiefs should be allowed in the playoffs if all those guys came back in week 18.
Colin says the same stuff every year. Why is “program that’s not as big of a name but has really deserving resume” over Alabama/clemson/etc. It’s annoying to hear people argue the same teams are always in the playoffs while always arguing Alabama should make the playoff or be ranked higher no matter what happens
