Fantastic HD video, taking advantage of a well-maintained station. I never realised so many HSTs stop at Twyford nowadays (in fact I don't remember any HSTs stopping there - it used to be that some stopped at Slough, but most were first stop Reading!

0-125mph takes around 6 minutes 40 seconds on an HST. 0-100 takes 3 minutes 26 seconds, they struggle with that last 25mph. So if Twyford is 5 minutes from Reading I'd guess it would be around the 110mph Mark in theory. But obviously would depend I both power cars are feeling well and the driver doesn't do running brake tests etc.

Seems a bit strange using an HST for that stopper to Bristol. Most of those stations are only a few minutes apart.

Do you know what the line speed at Maidenhead station is for HSTs?
