You have such a great grasp on the destructive power of pride thank you for sharing,I am praying you continue to be blessed and that you continue to share God's Holy word.......YEA GOD!
Yay! I look forward to these every week now!!! 😊☀️I love your bible studies, they give me some inspiration to do some of my own too! And I love your tattoos!! 😊
Just wanted to say I LOVE these videos!! I’m a wholehearted lover of God but have always struggled with knowing how to start reading God’s Word. I would get so bored with whatever book I picked and would end up giving up, but these videos make such a difference. Please keep doing what you’re doing! You truly are spreading God’s love, you are a true Christian, and we need more people like you! ❤️
I had no idea where to start with reading my Bible, but these videos got me started with James and now I can't stop reading! I'm on Matthew now. I don't know if I'd be here without you ☺️
Wish I could hit "Like" for more than one.... Please keep doing this Faith Friday..This is one of the reason that I can't wait for Friday of the week...Thank you so much...Be Blessed you and your family... Glory to Lord!!
Hi Celeste, I just want to encourage what you are doing with this channel. Each week I've been watching your series on James from Australia and it's been so refreshing! I'm preaching through James at the moment and God has been using the insights he has shown you to bless my heart, so I can then challenge our church through this great book. Keep up the great work!
I have been studying along through james trying to build my knowledge and i had no clue you are from indiana too!! Makes me love you more! Love you channel and Faith Friday!
I love how you pointed out to monitor why we pray for things. It’s so true! I just had a baby and your videos make it easy for me to do a daily study and give me a lot to think about! *sips tea* 😂😂😂
You said a mouthful in this segment. This was a really good Faith Friday. Around The 8:00 mark The lord used you to talk to me. Recently God revealed his will for me and i had my heart on something else. And, you said that instead of complaining about the thing that God is not giving you, you need to be thankful for God's will for you.
Hey:) this Video (or chapter 4) really hits one particular situation in my life right now! Thank you so much for these constant uploads! One thing though- in my opinion, the background music while you were talking was a bit too loud... I don‘t know, maybe that’s just me:) but maybe you can check for the next time?💋💋
I was wondering if you could do one faith Friday with you and your husband together on how your relationship has been with God so you can show others in marriage how to stick together and how to grow together please
Also- Why do we want to glorify God? This may sound really really silly to everyone, but it is a genuine question I have. I'm sorry i'm a little late to the Jesus gang.
Okay, I'll be the edgy believer here and give a little friendly pushback over a trivial matter. As far as I know, in verses 2 and 3, "God" is not in the original text. According to Biblehub, 4 of the 32 translations insert "God" into verse 2, and only 1 inserts "God" in verse 3. Remember that verse 1 starts with James stating the overall issue which is "what causes quarrels and fights among *you* "? So there are issues among the people. He then elaborates on verse 1 in the two following verses. Verse 2 and into verse 3 could be divided into four sections that *may* have been intended to be linked in order: A. “You desire and do not have, so you murder.“ B. “You covet and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel.” C. “You do not have, because you do not ask.” D. When you do ask, you “… do not receive because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your possessions.” a. You want something (desire). b. You want something that’s your neighbor’s (coveting), but you can’t get it. c. But you do not receive the thing from your neighbor, because you do not ask him. d. And when you do ask your neighbor, you do it with wrong motives. Now this is just a subjective interpretation as there isn't enough information to verify it. But to say that the asking in verses 2 and 3 is directed towards God, is also an implication since the text doesn't specifically mention Him. While I do agree that God doesn't give us EVERYTHING we ask for, I don't believe that's what James is intending to address here. But we also can't forget Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." Desires could be necessities, and they could be nonessentials. Also in 1 Kings 3:11-14 & 2 Chronicles 1:11-12, Solomon asks for wisdom, and God, who was pleased with Solomon's humble request, grants him wisdom and in addition promises to give Solomon, "possessions, wealth, honor," and also a conditional promise to give him a long life. This was a guy under the old covenant. He didn't even have the Holy Spirit living within him. (This is just an anecdote, but in my own experience, God has answered every prayer I've ever prayed. If He didn't respond by giving me the exact thing I asked for, He did respond by bringing me fulfillment and peace. He brings me a satisfaction just as much as if I were to have been given the thing I asked of Him. And sometimes He just says "Not yet", and then gives me patience to hang in there. He truly is a good good Father.)

What is the desires of the flesh? What does that statement mean? Please explain!!! Someone!!! I want to know!!
Also- Why do we want to glorify God? This may sound really really silly to everyone, but it is a genuine question I have. I'm sorry i'm a little late to the Jesus gang.
The desires of the flesh are all sin.Read Galatians 5:15-21
@@RoyalNight7 we want to glorify God because it is our highest design. It is when the Holy Spirit dwells in us and shows us the beauty of God.

If you can imagine that Jesus knew that his words were meant to still be relevant today, the Bible never stops being interesting.
Can you please be a pastor? 🥰🥰
