Music styles have changed a lot since I was a boy, as have my taste in music, but all along there has always been music being produced by artists that stood out above the rest no matter the style. From Patsy Cline Crazy to AC/DC Crazy Train, Iggy Pop, Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Art Of Noise, Kate Bush, Depeche Mode, New Order and everything that Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood ever stitched together. I was there for punk, Daft and otherwise, I witnessed and relished in the birth of House, Chicago to Acid, Trance, Oakenfold, Van Burren, some Gorillaz and a Mou5e, a million and four genres splitting again and again. My cohorts and I were the original ravers, oh, how I have danced the light fantastic, under the pretty, Pretty Lights. And it only has gotten better, so much better (the music and lights, not my dancing)! Life has been a trip, great music and fine people have made it a dance worth dancing, and the music and people keep getting better. Who ever your are, where ever you are, what ever you are, if you too hear the music then I hope you feel the love too. Somewhere up ahead I'll be getting off this ride, and it's been one hell of a ride, Thanks for sharing the cab fare with me, all of you, I couldn't have asked for better cohorts or a better soundtrack to this amazing time we live in.
