    Possible, but not necessary. The gradient tool is able to fill strokes of curves and texts.

      Thanks for your comment - yes you are right. I wasn't aware that you can select stroke as context when using the gradient tool. Have been doing it that way for years now ... but you never stop learning. So the way introduced in this video is a possible one but not the fastest one

    Your text needs to be large enough to see results

      Yes, the bigger you set your stroke width, the better your result will look like (ofc you need a large enough text/ font to set a high enough stroke width)
