I WILL NEVER DIE | lucy gray baird (the hunger games tbosas)

i will never die (filler edit)
this is a filler edit so not as much of a process on this one. but i did order the clips in a very specific way to fit the lyrics:
the first part is the arena, "old heat" to represent the games and "the raging fire" being the war.
the second part is lucy gray's relationship with coryo, "summers kiss" being her love for him, and "to electric wire" being the downfall.
the third part is the rest of panem's reactions to the games and lucy gray. i wanted it to feel like they are the backup vocals, singing along with her as if they're her mockingjays.
and the last part is similar to my last edit, showing the woods scene and lucy gray singing the hanging tree mixed together. i lowered the frame rate here; i wanted it to not only be mysterious this time but also a bit lonely and solemn, as if showing a mournful, hazy memory.

Standing amongst them all is Lucy Gray and she is dancing, her small feet lively and quick and now in doubletime and bowing to the lads, lean and swarthy, her head full of flowing hair. She never sleeps, she says. She says she’ll never die. She bows to the fiddlers and sashays backwards and throws back her head and laughs deep in her throat and she is a great favorite, Lucy Gray. She wafts her hat and her rich mane of hair billows darkly under the lamps and she swings about and takes possession of one of the fiddles and she pirouettes and makes a pass, two passes, dancing and fiddling at once. Her feet are light and nimble. She never sleeps. She says that she will never die. She dances in light and in shadow and she is a great favorite. She never sleeps, Lucy Gray. She is dancing, dancing. She says that she will never die.

hi! i believe that edit was made on sony vegas pro 16 but you can also do the same things on after effects. the main glitch effect was a time displacement, it's super easy to do, and the rest was done with the sapphire plugin :)
