Finally got a chance to use mine yesterday. When it was shipped had several of the washers for installation missing from package, also found bare wires on the 15 am fuse holder. Called Woodland Mills and they were very accommodating. They sent a new wiring harness and fuses free of charge. Also offered to send the washers but I had lots on hand. This shows a lot about the company as they very very concerned about my troubles after my purchase. I set up the sharpener I never used it for a couple of weeks. Ran it yesterday for 4 blades and I must say it works excellent. Easy to fine tune and profile the grinding stone. I previously had a Competitors brand which was very hard to maintain. The grindlux has performed extremely well. My only improvement opportunity is the blade holding arms are not very stable. The left side tends to move with the blade as it advances. Would be nice if you could clamp the arms solid in a verity of angle positions. Also would be nice if the arms had roller guides or bearings so the blade could advance with less friction. Overall it works well and I would recommend this product for the hobbyist or part time mill operator. Probably not the best choice for high production milling operation. Overall I am very happy with the Grindlux and give it a 8 out of 10 rating. As for Woodland Mills 10 out of 10!
So I'm thinking your sharpener will sharpen other sawmill blades such as Norwoods? I like the fact that yours has automatic feed was it is set up, you don't have to manually crank it. Is this true?
Hi Roger, Yes, it’s fully automatic. The sharpener can be adjusted for tooth rake angles of 7, 10 and 14 degrees. The gullet depth and take off can also be adjusted allowing 1.25″ - 1.5″ (31mm - 38mm) wide blades with tooth spacing (pitch) of 3/4″ - 1.25″ (19mm - 31mm) to be fitted to this sharpener.

that was nice. with blades costing so much and sharpening costing $7-$15 each time too, its not too long before this pays for itself.

Thank you. Good video. I have been looking for the common angles and you showed them...7, 10, 14.

Hello! Great video is this sharpener still availiable for purchase? Thank you have a great day.
very informative video. Now, if you had a setter!
How do you compensate for the tooth angle after sharpening? Does this have an automatic setter for the teeth?
The sharpener sharpens the face of the tooth, but does not make any adjustments to the set. We currently don't
offer a tooth setter.
Hi, can I shapener any kind if band saw blades?. My band saw blades are 10 and 12 teeth per inch. Thanks
