In the last email on the last paragraph, is it correct to use "..would like to meet with you."? Should it be "meet you"?

I just found out your channel...I am so grateful for such interesting videos. However, I am confused regarding the second email, As far as I am aware the world "information" is always used as singular whether the meaning is plural or singular...could you please advise me ?

Is it common to introduce yourself at the beginning of an email? In this example My name is Marco Conti.
I tell my students to avoid doing that.

Hi Hondalover3000! No worries. Oh, I see what you mean, but it's actually correct - were as in the past tense of be:
We are currently looking for a reliable partner in Austria, and were very impressed when we learned about your company during our research. (We are currently looking ... and were impressed when we learned about ...)
