Trivia: Though too small to read, the bottle that the Senators drink from has a label that reads "Domaine de la Maison sur le Lac: Produce of Naboo". The crate that almost crushes Padmé and Bail at the docks, as well as several others beside it, has the word 'cargo' stamped on it in Aurebesh.
Mon Mothma is later one of the leaders of the Rebellion besides Bail Organa. Her first appearance was in Return Of The Jedi and she later appeared in Rogue One and very briefly in Revenge Of The Sith. There is also a cut scene from Revenge Of The Sith where Padmé, Bail and Mon are secretly building a rebellion with other senators against Palpatine, but it was cut because of pacing reasons. Ahhh love that there are so many characters that are carrying on in during the time of the empire. ALSO...WHAAAAT???? Padme and the others were building a rebellion against palpatine!?!That is nuts and I guess it goes to show how alot of people started to realise that he was not a good guy
