What I love is you can hear a kind of twisted version of My Sails Are Set in this. Arlong truly had that much control over Nami’s life. It’s such an awesome touch.
The meanacing harsh violin strums and the roaming brass really make this sound like One Piece. This could easily have been in the Anime too. I just love how they manage to amke something new, yet manage to keep the vibes on point.
if pirates were gangsters in one piece Arlong would loiter one street corner and would own half a block at most. More like Arlong Pirates: Straight Outta Coco Village lmao
@@jackkimble6458 lmaoo you’re right 💀 But if that thug Luffy didn’t take his most valuable gang member, Arlong could be one of the fearsome gangsters in Grand Line
The fish guy who’s talking about slavery and all that shit goes “I aint surrendering!”, like why the hell would you stick black racism in a live action of an anime! Why the hell! F*** netflix!
he doesnt mention slavery once in the anime or manga lol, but why are u surprised? Netflix has been going around this whole time telling people Cleopatra was black, and will call u racist if u dont believe it. They turned usopp's mom black, turned Lucky Roux from Shanks crew black, turned Nami's sister Nojiko black, turned Gin black, even retconned Patty into a black person. Retconning characters into black people wherever they can, just be glad garp shanks and gold roger arent black as well. Funny part is that by doing this they actually take away roles, jobs, opportunities and representation from actually underrepresented minorities in the anime, from characters of arabic descent all the way to the mediterranean. These people never operated on logic, just listen to the loudest complainers... you know who. Even funnier is that black people have been complaining about fictional characters being retconned into white people for half a century now, just to show that they'll jump at the chance to do the exact same thing. They are no better than the people they've been complaining about their whole lives
@@SuryaGupta-te7fq”they’re no better” yes let’s compare racism and whitewashing to casting poc in white roles. Surely that’s the same thing “it isn’t.” Bro doesn’t even understand one piece LMAO

Hell yeah, these composers are pure dream team 💜 Everything they made for this OST has symbolism in its every notation.
Arlong entrance with this is so colddddd
This was my favorite song in the franchise, epic credits outro.
same, this is even better than my sails are set. This and the buggy soundtrack go hard

Man this is such a good one, I love the ost in general, I feel though that this one is quite underrated.
