Related to the NFI XN35, New Flyer is discontinuing XN35, XDE35 and XDE60 models in 2026-27. This leaves the market open to Gillig filling in the gap with their Gillig LF CNG and Hybrid 35’ models.
@@DCTransitFilms Yeah it was silently announced last week. The XN35 is probably due to Gilligs large share of that market with the XDE35 and XDE60 being discontinued due to Cummins and BAE not having equipment that integrate with one another. The XDE40 doesnt seem to be affected.
@@GilligBusOperatorIt be a cool idea if in 2026 or 2027 Gillig announces 60ft buses since all that happening at New Flyer and Nova no longer producing for America I see it as a potential discussion at Gillig who knows.
