It’s burger! Sandwich is a piece of baguette cut in half, filled with things haha. In Switzerland the rebel is not vegan, because i think it has cheese in it. But i really like them as a meat lover

Our family are not BK fans. We won't eat there. We like Wendy's or AW here in Canada. My husband doesn't like chicken wings. He doesn't eat meat off a bone at all. More for me.
Sadley, Burgr King in Poland doesn't have a Fish Sandwhich. McDonalds removed the Filet O Fish from their menu. Fanta is from Coca Cola, From the Pepsi side there is Mirinda, which would in the Netherlands Sisi, but then carbonated. Also, I don't understand that McDonaldss Poland doesn't have the McRib.
As a German I am deeply annoyed by the fact we only get the crappy US burger chains over here. McD is alright, I guess, but only because I grew up with the stuff. BK products are often better than McD's, but their preparation often sucks because they don't seem to train their staff properly (and in Germany, they've had some real trouble with hygiene in the past). KFC is alright every once in a while but they too seem to have trouble with quality control/freshness. But I'd much rather have chains like Wendy's, In-N-Out or Carl's Jr over here. And while I'm dreaming, I might as well mention Kua 'Aina, where I ate the best fast-food burger I've ever had in my life, back when their L.A. location still existed.
The bun is always so disgusting dry at Burger King. But I am still waiting for your Five Guys Tests. And try the peanut butter Milkshake, you can also add Bacon to it, that a lot of people do. But I am not a fan of bacon anyway. It’s pretty expensive I have to admit, but the burgers , the fries and the shakes are way much better than McD and Burger King combined! The closest Five Guys to your location would be probably in Hannover.
While tests like these are fun there are so many factors involved. My experience is that you get good stuff at both places and sometimes, if you catch them on the wrong day, there both very bad. Those chicken wings looked pretty burnt.

Hi Deanna and Phil ! I am in Wisconsin and we have Culver's. Its a regional "fast food" place and i say fast food loosely as its real food just made faster. There is nothing there that is not amazing but IF you are ever in Wisconsin you NEED to try the deep fried cheese curds. They are AMAZING. Just like people dunk their fries in frostys from wendys my kids swear by their cheese nuggets dipped in chocolate shakes lol , kids . Anyway , thanks for the videos and remember, if your in the midwest , look for Culver's .
Culvers has spread across to other parts of US. Went there after dinner for ice cream milkshakes (or what are they called there) with my girl friends but haven't tried the meals yet.
As a vegetarian who never liked meat, I seriously hate the Rebel Whopper. Nowadays imo the "Veggie King" (does it exist in de/us?; it does in ch) with cheese is by far the best burger when it comes to fast food chains. McDonald's had a vegetarian burger (CH) (and a crispy veggie wrap in the UK) for years and it was hands down one of the best vegetarian options even compared to normal restaurants. Sadly they are gone because vegan options are the new trendy thing to have... their new alternative is just mediocre now.
Sandwich, Burger - well our german definition of a burger was always to think of the american-thing-between-two-buns-combination as a burger. thats why everything is a burger for us. But we are wrong, since the burger is just the meat patty in between. this is my explanation, and therefor the german "burger" is just a we-dont-know-better.

For me the best Burger King products are "X-tra Long Chili Cheese", "Crispy Chicken", "Cheese Burger" and "Chilli Cheese Burger", "Chilli Cheese Nuggets", "Onion Rings" and "French Fries". Drinks like "Cola" or "Fanta" are standard. I don't think it tastes better or worse than McDonalds. At McDonalds my favourites are "Big Tasty Bacon", "Chicken Mc Nuggets", "Chicken Burger", "Chicken Wings". Sometime there are special products for a short period of time, like "Mozzarella Sticks" , "Camembert Ecken", "Fried Shrimps" or "Potatoe Wedges" I always like to add them to my order.
Ich finde die normalen BK Pommes besser als die normalen Pommes bei Mc, aber die Spezial Pommes(twister usw.) bei Mc sind besser als die Pommes bei BK.

Im Amerika it is a chicken sandwich. Burger is generally reserved for ground beef. Even ground pork is usually referred to as a sandwich, even if it is prepared exactly the same way as the burger. Oh, and the Impossible Whopper is okay, but it leaves a weird aftertaste in your mouth, in my opinion.
Sometimes ketchup, sometimes mayo, sometimes both. Whopper and Long Chili Cheese burgers are the best. Big Tasty is to much smoked bacon. I want to have the taste of grilled beef. When I had to do in GÖ more often I stopped at BK near Kaufpark or the McD in Weende. Hat awful fries in Weende and also very good ones. Fries at BK were OK. Was only going there for the Whopper. The chickenwings look to burnt for me. Crispy yeah, but not black pls. I would prefer a grilled chicken from a food truck.
When you two roll into your local fast food restaurants, it's probably like the high rollers being welcomed in Vegas. The employees probably wish they didn't have to fill your huge orders, though. 😁
that's pretty easy you go to a dictionary and it reads "burger: a flat round cake of minced beef that is fried or grilled and typically served in a bread roll" It's not a burger if it's a whole piece of meat. A burger is always a gound/minced meat patty that what it means in English. You CAN make a chicken burger but usually, it's just a whole piece of chicken so it's not a burger but a sandwich.

When it comes to chicken sandwiches the only passable option in Germany is KFC. Chick-fil-A and Popeyes are so good i miss them a lot. It's almost impossible to find a good chicken sandwich in Germany.
i wanted to complain that that you left out 4 of the most bought items.....but then i saw the last few seconds of the video and you told us about the forgoten big king......anyway.....3 items that you definitely missed out on: onion rings, chilli cheese burger (any burger build yourself with the chilli cheese sauce if you like it hot on a american level) and the most expensive burger the (double) steakhouse.......the 2 big failures of burger king are in my opinion the cheap burgers like you said (hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger) with the exception of the nugget burger which is super good.......and the other thing burger king is bad at are the dipping sauces....sweet and sour of mcdonalds is so much better than any burger king sauce
I can see your point. The Steakhouse is actually my favorite burger from BK, but it is too close to a whopper with Bacon& Cheese, so we went for that. I used to go double, but now I think it's way too dry. I think the Chili Cheese Burgers are very overrated and not good, but that's just my opinion. :) Yeah, we maybe should've gotten some onion rings. :)

Where I live i prefer the local hotdog stand to the chain fast food places. I usally order fries, hotdogs and a drink. Much better than BK or Mcdonalds. In germany do these little chip joints exist and would you be willing to show us if good or not? thx.
I have to go with Deana. Burger is ground beef and sandwich are the others with chicken and such. Although I'm jealous the US doesn't have wings at BK!
The Rebel Whopper is great for people who wanna have the Whopper experience but don't want to eat meat. In my opinion it tastes pretty close to the beef Whopper. It's quite good. BUT it is not vegan! First because it's grilled on the same grill as the beef thus getting the beef fat and stuff and it has Mayonaise (eggs) on it. So it's vegetarian, not vegan. But since it tastes quite similar to the original whopper, its target audience is neither vegans nor vegetarians but more meat lovers that are willing to not eat meat now and then. I really think you should give it a try!
-I like mayo better but if you go out in the US you usually can't get it/ the people will look at you weird. -Its a chicken sandwhich. But in the south we have a shrimp burger and you have to be careful most of the time it is just a bunch of fried shrimp on a piece of bread with coleslaw. Northern places and very few southern places, it will be ground up shrimp in a burger like patty. -Chick fil a is awesome for chicken! And their mac and cheese is AMAZING! -The only fast food I got when I was in Germany was McDonald's, it definitely was fresher than the US version but more expensive. Their ice cream with cinnamon apples is sooo good!

Klasse Video. Ich muss sagen, wir stimmen mit der Wertung im großen und ganzen überein. Beim Hamburger/Cheeseburger stimmt das Bun/Fleisch-Verhältnis nicht. Die Buns sind einfach zu gut. Vom Großen M ist man so "schönes pappiges" Bun gewohnt, sodass man ein richtiges Bun bei so einem kleinen Burger nicht mehr wertschätzt. Deshalb beim nächsten mal den Tripple Cheeseburger bestellen. Da stimmt das Verhältnis wieder. ;-) Außerdem fehlte der Big King (XXL). Der ist Klasse. Macht weiter so. .
I just heard you speak about the buns and I thought "how can anyone like McDonald's buns better?" The McDonald's buns are squishy, flat and taste blah, while Burger King has very good buns - my opinion. But I have always liked Burger King better than McDonald's... Thanks for your great videos though, I really enjoy them! I was married to an American for 10 years and many videos remind me of the times we had.

Husband thought the chicken sandwich was really good, and I had a whopper jr which I also enjoyed. The french fries are tied with Arbys as my favorite fast food fries.
Deana, you should try Lactaid products. They are meant for lactose intolerant people and consist of tablets, drops (to be applied to a bite of food), lactose-free milk, lactose-free ice cream, and other products. They sell Lactaid products in grocery and drug stores in the U.S. You could have a family member or friend buy the drops and tablets and send them to Germany for you to try. My mom used the drops, and they worked well for her. 🧀🍧🍦🍨🍶😋🤗
lol i recently tried american burger king for the first time and ill have to say my reaction is like 100% opposite of yours! I hated the chili cheese nuggets and loooooved the whopper...the whopper has a really nice charcoal grilled flavor which i hadnt previously experienced in germany. Deep fried food in the US in general is too greasy for me tho. I did try chic fil a and loved how juicy the chicken was, I also tried popeyes but that one was too greasy for me personally...but in terms of greasiness nothing will ever beat KFC, that chicken is dripping oil its so greasy!
Wenn ihr mal wieder bei BK seid, dann bestellt Chili Cheese Nuggets und ein Eis mit Oreo. Nehmt das Eis als Dip für die Chili Cheese Nuggets. Klingt pervers, aber ich fand's lecker. You can add bacon to any burger in any fast food restaurant. For example, my go to burger at McDonald's is a Big Mac. And here's how I order it: extra sauce, extra pickles and bacon, bacon, bacon. I get the burger and immediately look at the paper on the box to make sure they got it correct. Right there on the paper says "3h bacon." As in 3 half strips of bacon. That's 1&1/2 slices of bacon. I was inspired by something else and now I won't order my Bic Mac's any other way.
Let's be honest...these videos are the best and most fun to film just because it gives you an excuse to eat all this kind of food that you normally feel guilty about, but in this case it is justified in the name of science and entertainment...😂
No regular whopper?! That's the thing with burger king, they are incredibly inconsistent and unprofessional. There was a location right down the street that was actually out of burgers and most of their chicken for literally months! I have long thought BK is a laundry for organized crime because they couldn't possibly be making a profit with their incredibly terrible service!

Here in the USA, Burger King has a plant based version of the Whopper, you can't even tell the difference but it costs more than the regular Whopper!

Sandwich, Burger - well our german definition of a burger was always to think of the american-thing-between-two-buns-combination as a burger. thats why everything is a burger for us. But we are wrong, since the burger is just the meat patty in between. this is my explanation, and therefor the german "burger" is just a we-dont-know-better.

was heißt frechheit? das sind auch nur menschen, die da arbeiten und menschen machen fehler! ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass dir auch schon mal ein fehler passiert ist. gerade momentan müssen die armen mitarbeiter den ganzen Tag mit maske arbeiten, obwohl es bei den fritteusen etc ohnehin schon viel zu warm ist, da kann schon mal ein fehler unterlaufen. einfach prüfen dass alles da ist, die meisten filialen geben dir meistens sogar einen entschuldigungsburger o.ä. zusätzlich zu dem der fehlt.

For me the best Burger King products are "X-tra Long Chili Cheese", "Crispy Chicken", "Cheese Burger" and "Chilli Cheese Burger", "Chilli Cheese Nuggets", "Onion Rings" and "French Fries". Drinks like "Cola" or "Fanta" are standard. I don't think it tastes better or worse than McDonalds.
At McDonalds my favourites are "Big Tasty Bacon", "Chicken Mc Nuggets", "Chicken Burger", "Chicken Wings". Sometime there are special products for a short period of time, like "Mozzarella Sticks" , "Camembert Ecken", "Fried Shrimps" or "Potatoe Wedges" I always like to add them to my order.
Ich finde die normalen BK Pommes besser als die normalen Pommes bei Mc, aber die Spezial Pommes(twister usw.) bei Mc sind besser als die Pommes bei BK.

Im Amerika it is a chicken sandwich. Burger is generally reserved for ground beef. Even ground pork is usually referred to as a sandwich, even if it is prepared exactly the same way as the burger.
Oh, and the Impossible Whopper is okay, but it leaves a weird aftertaste in your mouth, in my opinion.
Sometimes ketchup, sometimes mayo, sometimes both.
Whopper and Long Chili Cheese burgers are the best. Big Tasty is to much smoked bacon. I want to have the taste of grilled beef.
When I had to do in GÖ more often I stopped at BK near Kaufpark or the McD in Weende. Hat awful fries in Weende and also very good ones.
Fries at BK were OK. Was only going there for the Whopper.

I like mac fries when hot; the chicken fries are awsome, I prefer the Burger King's burgers; I LOVE the BK chicken sandwich and I love the onion rings

It's not a burger if it's a whole piece of meat. A burger is always a gound/minced meat patty that what it means in English. You CAN make a chicken burger but usually, it's just a whole piece of chicken so it's not a burger but a sandwich.

When it comes to chicken sandwiches the only passable option in Germany is KFC. Chick-fil-A and Popeyes are so good i miss them a lot. It's almost impossible to find a good chicken sandwich in Germany.

The small images of the crispy chicken burger are the wrong ones... you show the crunshy chicken (relatively new burger at burger king).
i wanted to complain that that you left out 4 of the most bought items.....but then i saw the last few seconds of the video and you told us about the forgoten big king......anyway.....3 items that you definitely missed out on: onion rings, chilli cheese burger (any burger build yourself with the chilli cheese sauce if you like it hot on a american level) and the most expensive burger the (double) steakhouse.......the 2 big failures of burger king are in my opinion the cheap burgers like you said (hamburger, cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger) with the exception of the nugget burger which is super good.......and the other thing burger king is bad at are the dipping sauces....sweet and sour of mcdonalds is so much better than any burger king sauce
I can see your point. The Steakhouse is actually my favorite burger from BK, but it is too close to a whopper with Bacon& Cheese, so we went for that. I used to go double, but now I think it's way too dry. I think the Chili Cheese Burgers are very overrated and not good, but that's just my opinion. :) Yeah, we maybe should've gotten some onion rings. :)

Where I live i prefer the local hotdog stand to the chain fast food places. I usally order fries, hotdogs and a drink. Much better than BK or Mcdonalds. In germany do these little chip joints exist and would you be willing to show us if good or not? thx.
Yeah. There are definitely numerous of them in places like Berlin or bigger cities in general. Here not so much, aside from a couple of Kebab places.
I have to go with Deana. Burger is ground beef and sandwich are the others with chicken and such. Although I'm jealous the US doesn't have wings at BK!
The Rebel Whopper is great for people who wanna have the Whopper experience but don't want to eat meat. In my opinion it tastes pretty close to the beef Whopper. It's quite good.
BUT it is not vegan! First because it's grilled on the same grill as the beef thus getting the beef fat and stuff and it has Mayonaise (eggs) on it. So it's vegetarian, not vegan.
But since it tastes quite similar to the original whopper, its target audience is neither vegans nor vegetarians but more meat lovers that are willing to not eat meat now and then.
I really think you should give it a try!
The Wendy's grilled chicken is my favorite fast food, at least in NY.

-I like mayo better but if you go out in the US you usually can't get it/ the people will look at you weird.
-Its a chicken sandwhich. But in the south we have a shrimp burger and you have to be careful most of the time it is just a bunch of fried shrimp on a piece of bread with coleslaw. Northern places and very few southern places, it will be ground up shrimp in a burger like patty.
-Chick fil a is awesome for chicken! And their mac and cheese is AMAZING!
-The only fast food I got when I was in Germany was McDonald's, it definitely was fresher than the US version but more expensive. Their ice cream with cinnamon apples is sooo good!

Klasse Video. Ich muss sagen, wir stimmen mit der Wertung im großen und ganzen überein. Beim Hamburger/Cheeseburger stimmt das Bun/Fleisch-Verhältnis nicht. Die Buns sind einfach zu gut. Vom Großen M ist man so "schönes pappiges" Bun gewohnt, sodass man ein richtiges Bun bei so einem kleinen Burger nicht mehr wertschätzt. Deshalb beim nächsten mal den Tripple Cheeseburger bestellen. Da stimmt das Verhältnis wieder. ;-) Außerdem fehlte der Big King (XXL). Der ist Klasse. Macht weiter so. .

I just heard you speak about the buns and I thought "how can anyone like McDonald's buns better?" The McDonald's buns are squishy, flat and taste blah, while Burger King has very good buns - my opinion. But I have always liked Burger King better than McDonald's... Thanks for your great videos though, I really enjoy them! I was married to an American for 10 years and many videos remind me of the times we had.
It's a burger for me in Aussie a sandwich is something between two slices from a loaf of bread but who cares as long as you enjoy it.

Husband thought the chicken sandwich was really good, and I had a whopper jr which I also enjoyed. The french fries are tied with Arbys as my favorite fast food fries.
The BK fish sandwich (known as the whaler back in the day) is better than McD's filet-o-fish imho.
Deana, you should try Lactaid products. They are meant for lactose intolerant people and consist of tablets, drops (to be applied to a bite of food), lactose-free milk, lactose-free ice cream, and other products.
They sell Lactaid products in grocery and drug stores in the U.S.
You could have a family member or friend buy the drops and tablets and send them to Germany for you to try.
My mom used the drops, and they worked well for her. 🧀🍧🍦🍨🍶😋🤗

lol i recently tried american burger king for the first time and ill have to say my reaction is like 100% opposite of yours! I hated the chili cheese nuggets and loooooved the whopper...the whopper has a really nice charcoal grilled flavor which i hadnt previously experienced in germany. Deep fried food in the US in general is too greasy for me tho. I did try chic fil a and loved how juicy the chicken was, I also tried popeyes but that one was too greasy for me personally...but in terms of greasiness nothing will ever beat KFC, that chicken is dripping oil its so greasy!
Wenn ihr mal wieder bei BK seid, dann bestellt Chili Cheese Nuggets und ein Eis mit Oreo. Nehmt das Eis als Dip für die Chili Cheese Nuggets. Klingt pervers, aber ich fand's lecker. Oder anstatt die Pommes in Ketschup oder Mayo zu dippen, probiert es mit Milchshake. Die Kombination aus salzig und süß macht es lecker.

Best onion rings (I ever had, where at "The Cow" in Edmond, OK.) But Chef John has an amazing recipe for that, too. You only have to work out the best spices to mix into the flour: (Im working on that, too.)

Jetzt mal weiter in deutch: Mayonaise mache ich inzwischen selber. Schaut mal nach "Blitzmayonaise". Und: da weiß man, was drin ist.
Ich arbeite auch gerade an den besten Pommes. (Da braucht man die Fritte.) Erstmal braucht man mehlig kochende Kartoffeln. Keine festkochenden.
3 Methoden führen zum Ziel: 1.: kochen, frittieren. 2.: 2-mal frittieren (130^C und volle Pulle) (die Belgische Variante) und 3.: kochen und 2-mal frittieren. Mein Liebling: kalt aufsetzen und 4-5min kochen in Salzwasser (ab Kochpunkt). Raus. Abdampfen lassen. Bei 160°C 4 min frittieren. Raus. Auf Küchenkrepp. Bei voller Pulle (190°C) 1-2 min knusprig frittieren.
Jetzt braucht es noch das beste Gewürzsalz. Viel Spaß beim suchen und guten Appetit!

You can add bacon to any burger in any fast food restaurant. For example, my go to burger at McDonald's is a Big Mac. And here's how I order it: extra sauce, extra pickles and bacon, bacon, bacon. I get the burger and immediately look at the paper on the box to make sure they got it correct. Right there on the paper says "3h bacon." As in 3 half strips of bacon. That's 1&1/2 slices of bacon. I was inspired by something else and now I won't order my Bic Mac's any other way.
Let's be honest...these videos are the best and most fun to film just because it gives you an excuse to eat all this kind of food that you normally feel guilty about, but in this case it is justified in the name of science and entertainment...😂

That's the thing with burger king, they are incredibly inconsistent and unprofessional. There was a location right down the street that was actually out of burgers and most of their chicken for literally months! I have long thought BK is a laundry for organized crime because they couldn't possibly be making a profit with their incredibly terrible service!
I mix mayo and ketchup for the fries. I also think McDonald's fries suck. They are always luke warm.
