The reason why Italy won this year is because these guys are a breath of fresh air, they had charisma in and out of stage and the song is cool and catchy. Remember there were at least 4 female singers singing the same kind of song with the same outfit...boring
I'm not too fond of rock n'roll but I loved this anyways, and I figure this happened to a lot of people as well. @@samiulluimas I got the same immediate impression the first time I saw this vid. Like 1996 era Manson, when he had the podiums and was evoking an election candidate. At the same time, his costume/hair for performing at Eurovision made me think of Till Lindemann. But the video itself kind of just references a whole bunch of 90s bands. It's very fun to guess where they're coming from and what they were aiming for! :D
