I purchased this telescope 3 months ago and it’s image quality is significantly better than the one of the 102/1000 mm F10 achromat I had before. It’s focuser is also excellent. I am very pleased with it.
I have a quite a number of Svbony astronomy products and can say I'm very happy with them all , the quality is great. This refractor is going on my list for a future purchase, thanks for the review.
Have you had any issues with focusing? On min, I have to turn the focusing knob all the way in to a point the tube actually falls off the guide rack. I am using a Svbony field flattenener / reducer. I can never get this to focus clearly. Thx Mike
hello you need to determine the length of the focal length. If the focal length is long, you need to add a focus reduction lens or an extension tube. If the focal length is short, you can add a Barlow lens.If the problem has not been solved, you can Email me, info@svbony.com,

But astrophotography is a whole different thing than just observing. That’s how you know a good scope can work. Moon is something simple.
Yes, this is true. The SV503 102ED shows a good picture and is a good choice for deep space photography.
