    Types of mixtures -
    True Solution(Homogenous) - Uniformly mixed and cannot be seen through naked eyes and can be properly filtered when filtered through filter paper i.e., Salt with water.
    Size - Less then 1 nm
    Colloids(May differ)- Components, the size of which comes between True Solution and Suspension and particles cannot be seen but residue can be found when filtered through micro molecular membrane i.e., Milk.
    Size - 1 & 100 nm
    Suspension(Heterogeneous) - Not uniformly mixed and particles can be seen through naked eyes and residue can be found when filtered through filter paper i.e., Sand with water.

    Mam then how to clarify between homogeneous and colloidal solutions like if any solution is homogeneous how to know if it is colloid or not??

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  Год назад

      Hi there! That's a great question! You can tell if a solution is a homogeneous or colloidal solution by looking at the size of the particles that make up the solution. If the particles are too small to see, the solution is a homogeneous solution. If the particles are large enough to be seen, the solution is a colloidal solution. We hope this helps!
