Ok when a stranger...no matter how nice that person is; asked you to go on his boat....you say NO!
There was a piece missing from this story because I've seen this story before and it was during the investigation the handwriting from the killer on the pamphlet they had was put on a billboard on the highway and a woman recognized who it was.
he tried to do the same thing to two friends after he killed the three girls they were women he offered to take them on his boat the next day but one friend didn’t show up so he didn’t kill her because the other friend could identify him and the boat i think that helped catch him and someone recognized his handwriting in the note
I am way late to the party on your MrBallen reactions so I'm binging them. I wanted to comment on your question on why the hotel/motel didn't notice for a week. This is STRICTLY speculation but here's what I thought when I 1st watched MrBallen's video:.
I used to travel a LOT for work as a Trade Show and meeting manager and there were times where I didn't need housekeeping so I'd leave the The "Do Not Disturb" door hanger and that indicated no service needed. If I needed towels or anything I'd just call the front deck and they'd come and swap out while I was in the room. I think maybe they put this on the door as they left for the boat trip. Housekeeping will not enter if the DND is displayed, so when they went in to do the cleaning after checkout (as you said, Kidd) the housekeepers can 'ignore' the sign as they need to get the room ready for the next person. Ea hotel had different policies but that's a safe bet! LOVE your reactions!!!
I hope his daughter is finally at peace now, this world only offered her pain and suffering. I hope she is finally able to be at peace after her death.
It depends on how long their stay was. I used to work for the Hyatt and sometimes we would have guess who would be there for a while. Not all of them wanted us to come in their room to clean up. But once we did go in, you can clearly tell people have been there. In this situation I'm glad they called the police cuz that's weird.
