  • Ensuring Goat Health and Well-being at Dexter World Farm
In the latest update from Dexter World Farm, the focus is on the well-being and health of the goats on the farm. From administering supplements to addressing eye infections and conducting injections, the farm owner demonstrates a deep commitment to caring for the animals under their charge.
    Introducing the New Breeder Goats
The video begins with introducing the new breeder goats recently acquired from Mount Carmel. These prestigious goats are in the process of recovering from the stress of their journey to the farm. To aid in their recovery, the farmer mentions the administration of iron injections.
    Providing Essential Supplements
To ensure the goats receive a balanced diet, the farmer introduces a mineral block containing essential nutrients like Calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, and sulfate. The mineral block is hung for the goats to access, with the expectation that it will significantly contribute to their overall health.
    Addressing Health Concerns
The video shows the farmer addressing the eye infection of some baby goats using an eye medication. Additionally, a medicine box containing various treatments such as liver extract, analgesics, antibiotics, and dewormers is used to administer injections to the goats for their well-being.
    Building Strength and Muscle
The focus then shifts to injecting the goats to enhance their strength and muscle mass. Randy, the largest goat on the farm, is highlighted as a key candidate for these injections to help him reach an ideal weight of 100 kilograms.
    Training and Utilizing Goats
Randy is earmarked for a special role as the stud for the female goats on the farm. The farmer plans to train Randy to pull carts, showcasing the goats' intelligence and trainability. This initiative aims to maximize the potential of the goats beyond traditional farming practices.
    Conclusion
In concluding the video, the farmer emphasizes the importance of observing the goats' behavior to ensure their well-being. Regular injections, supplements, and attentive care are essential aspects of goat farming that contribute to the animals' health and growth. As the goats continue to adapt to their new environment, the farmer remains dedicated to their care and improvement.
The dedication and meticulous care displayed by Dexter World Farm in ensuring the health and well-being of their goats serve as a testament to responsible animal husbandry practices. Through a combination of nutrition, medical attention, and training, the goats are set on a path to thrive in their new home.

Dexter, you have to have a system when trying to do injections with your animals especially the goats. Have a system as a safety precaution to avoid hurting yourself as well. The way you're holding the needle can get you hurt with the needle you used in your injection. You should have someone holding the animals when giving them injections.

Find a mineral block that has copper in it and you won't need wormer anymore.
A lot of mineral blocks don't contain copper because it will kill sheep.
