I did some wood projects with my grandfather when I was a kid. We were using poplar wood and a clear coat. He was really bummed out that natural purplish green colors weren't preserved. Even though we used a clear coat it made it a light color.
Beautiful wood. Nice to see mill video. How is the house coming along. I an so close to finishing my mill that I can taste it. Good luck with the inspections. Hopefully you can get a walk through video before drywall?

How long have you had your mill, did yall get it new?
We had it about 4 yrs we bought it second hand its a 2018 model

We get ours from Bastrop Texas. Northeast of Austin.
