Good job son. You did great for a beginner. I believe design engineers are paid to make these maintenance tasks as hard to perform as possible for 2 reasons. 1 is so you will take it to a shop and pay $80-100/hr to have it done. 2 is in hopes that you dump the machine and buy a new one. Most people should just pay a pro to cut their grass and actually save money.

How did you get the belt around the rear pull under the fan. I cant remove the fan. It is spinning free.
It’s been awhile, but I think I put the belt on that side first, just went over the fan with extra slack.
