      A new style of video for us - usually it's just us talking and eating - this was the first time we filmed some restaurants with someone else talking. But I LOVED Przemek's character and style, which I thought was perfect for video. So happy to let him do his thing😀. The food was delicious. Was hard to choose one restaurant but we are focused on Polish cuisine right now....

    Fabryczna 13 looks wonderful. Definitely will be on my list of restaurants when I visit next summer. Mr. Gargala was very informative. It appears to be about a mile from the rynek. Is it walkable from there? Good way to burn off the calories after dinner. Thanks for another wonderful video!!

    What a great place to go and spend some time trying nice food and drink. Was the fillet nicer than the place you always went on a Sunday in the main square. It's nice to see these places pop up. Hope after covid times it takes off. Forgot to comment on the duck video. I had to laugh when jed said we could have a duck each. Must have been nice. Can't wait for your return when it is all open.

      Yes the beef was the best beef so far of 2021, most expensive too so basically you get what you pay for. I'd like to back to try the ribs and the fresh beer when the brewery is open

    Great looking kotlet. Thats how schabowy / shnitzel should look like. The beef looks amazing too. I have had that Ed Red steak in pepercorn sauce you had in one of your videos and it was great. This though, looks like a different league altogether ;)

    • @planetkrakow
      @planetkrakow  3 года назад

      Did you try the EdRed pork in barbecue? That was awesome too. The beef at Distilo was fabulous.

    Fantastic to observe place growing " with you".
    Already you have a date for the 28 th October.
    Filet of beef looked fab. I would be in turmoil as would want beef and the veal cutlet .
    For a moment I though you were served Scotch eggs - Im hooked on those 🤭.
    In November ( from the 5th) many restaurants will start serving goose -Gęsina na świętego Marcina- Goose for Saint Martin.
    For sure Destilo will be changing their menu. A symbol of goose will appear on the menus displayed outsides restaurants .
    The area where Fabryczna 13 is its called Rybitwy.
    It will be an area with parks called Kraków Manhatan.😀

    • @planetkrakow

    They should give you these dishes for free. After all, you are doing a good publicity for them.

    • @planetkrakow
      @planetkrakow  3 года назад

      It's nice to get things for free but we don't ask for anything like that. We film places we like and want to be independent to express our own opinion and not be influenced. Places we don't really like we just don't film

    • @KowalskyLeon
      @KowalskyLeon 3 года назад

      @@planetkrakow Sure. I assume you film many places, also these which you eventually didn't like, but you publish your videos only from those restaurants which you liked. Nevertheless through your videos you advertise many restaurants. You choose interesting dishes which look tasty and prepared in a fair way. You show the nicer side of Polish cuisine.

    • @planetkrakow
      @planetkrakow  3 года назад

      Right. At the moment we are enjoying exploring Polish cuisine especially - it's an interesting journey for us

    • @KowalskyLeon
      @KowalskyLeon 3 года назад

      @@planetkrakow Polish cuisine has changed a lot through the last few decades, became more international, especially in the restaurants. The traditional Polish cuisine from my childhood was simplier, but the ingredients were more natural - today called bio - so the food tasted better. I had grandparents living in a country having own gardens, fields, animals. I will never forget taste of fresh milk directly from cow, self made butter or cottage cheese from the milk. Till now in my family we prepare food made from fruits and vegetables from own garden, eggs & poultry of own breeding. Taste of the food is not to compare with food from supermarkets. Polish agriculture 30 years ago was criticized for being on small acreages - but this was its big advantage, not a disadvantage. Farmers did not produce food in such an industrial way and with the use of as many artificial fertilizers and plant protection products as today. But it all came from the West focused solely on profits, not on the quality and health of consumers.

      I'd love to taste that food from those earlier times. The closest maybe is the Parsley market food from Podgorze which we have enjoyed very much

    Polish beef is the best in the world for many years.
    Polish farmer is raising the beef with love and more attention that humanly possible.For Polish farmer young cow or bull is more than pet.The Polish farmers love theirs animals to the point that in Christmas time they have tradition to share Holly Communion with their animals.They offer wafer( body of Christ) to animals on Christmas Day.
    I f you see interaction of Polish farmer with their life stock you be speechless how humans can love their animals.
    This is organic 10.0
    Farmers talk to the animal, they massage the animal, they give threats ( apple , carrots , etc)
    When they sale animals people cry, children are so upset ( they will not eat for days because they would be so upset ).Is same as loosing the family pet.
    To understand this correctly most farmers only raising 1 or 2 beef for sale.

      Thank you for this information. After this experience I have a better appreciation of Polish beef now!
