    So this video has been in the works for a little while, I've been trying to come up with some really useful tips that are worthy of another Building Tips video. If you have any personal building tips I haven't covered yet, I'd love to hear em in the comments! Hope you all enjoy!

    if you use sandstone or stable pillars for the corner pillar trick, they take up less "space" if that makes sense and then just replace it with the pillar your want to use after you set the wall or window in.

    something that works well with foundation stepping is, what i found and call foundation sliding.
    using corner pieces (in a way that is too hard to type) you can move a foundation font, back or to each side by about 1/8 a block.
    so if a part is just slightly off the edge, you can SLIDE it over a little, and then using yout stepping, you can then more it up and down as needed

    I've found that the wooden support pieces do not get locked in a particular orientation like the wall or window pieces. You can place a wooden support piece, in the orientation you want, and then replace it with a window/wall as desired. So far this hasn't failed me

    • @Eradicati0nn
      @Eradicati0nn  2 года назад +1

      I'll have to give that a try to lock the orientation. Lattice walls work really nicely too, seeing as they're uniform on both sides

    Can you please make a tip on how to make a foundation that will fit circular tower attached to the main build foundation. Whenever I try to add it, I can't have it fit nicely into main building. It's off the grid how ever I try to place it.

    • @Eradicati0nn
      @Eradicati0nn  2 года назад

      Unfortunately you can't really connect a tower to a square base and have it look properly connected and flush. The best method is to build a base around towers by using wedges and squares

    I've noticed that corner pillars don't give ANY support at all, and ALL my builds still require me to place the middle pillars in order for my ceiling tiles to stay built. Since this is the case, is there any method to make them provide support?

    • @Eradicati0nn
      @Eradicati0nn  2 года назад

      They can provide upwards support to centre-snapped ceilings, but unfortunately not edge-snapped ones. I think the Glass Constructions mod may support ceilings above with the Pillar Snappoint Extensions but I'm not 100% sure

    Always enjoyed your build tips videos. Something I’ve been struggling with a lot recently is big gates placement, and gate houses in larger builds.
    I can’t remember if you have covered that kind of work in an older tips video or not, or have a build guide that you think is a excellent example of gate usage, but either way, I’d be really interested in your take on them!

    • @Eradicati0nn
      @Eradicati0nn  2 года назад +1

      Gates are a bit fiddly for sure. Always plan ahead for them, and place them atop fence foundations, otherwise they tend to misbehave

    There is a Guy/Girl making a rather Interesting Viking village on Xbox official isle of Siptah server 7059 or 7057 ( can’t remember) near the island with the grave of the two lovers.. looks very good and sometimes they leave their mead hall open so players can see all the decorations.

    • @Eradicati0nn
      @Eradicati0nn  2 года назад

      That sounds pretty cool! Unfortunately i don't play on Xbox but that does sound like a build I'd like to see

      @@Eradicati0nn any artistic build that isn't some jackass building in creative mode in single player mode is actually impressive.
      If you ever get a chance to take a peek they are always running around working on their village.. sometimes if they do a build I like to sit and watch him/her.

      I get this question more than you'd think 😂 I had a passing interest in architecture when I studied photography years ago, but I've got no sort of architectural education. Everything I've learned about IRL architecture is purely self-taught, or just learned from experience
