The thing with this team is Tua can’t play a bad game and win. If Tua plays like how Mahomes has been playing we’d be 0-5 right now. Tua has to be perfect for this team to be perfect and that isn’t sustainable. Tua’s injury may have lowkey been a blessing. They may have learned to win another way and when Tua comes back we’ll just incorporate the best of both.
Bull shit. He had beaten plenty of teams while having an off day. His first game back from the concussion in Cincinnati, against Pittsburgh in prime time, he had a very mid day at best, and they won the game. And that’s just the first game I thought of. Most of the wins he had against Belichick were very mid as far as stats, and he won all of em. Having mid stats but efficiently, is a far cry from having flat out bad stats and inefficiency to go with it. That’s the difference in being a franchise QB, and not.
Hoch acknowledges the Phins has poor depth but insists they’re a good team. That’s now how this works. This isn’t Madden, all 53 guys count, especially when you can’t turn the injuries off. 🎮
