The idea that loving and mossing someone isnt natural and is synonymous with feeling incomplete is a projection in itself.
The new age purports the ideology that people are interchangeable and replaceable commodities for the purposes of fullfilling ones personal pleasures and desires.
Under that ideology, i woukd agree that caring or "waiting" for someone is ridiculous.
However, the word "waiting" is odd in its vagueness of usage in relation to a loved one other than oneself in the new age.
Besides the projection of commodity, the word generally carries the heavy and intended suggestion of fornication.
Loving and caring for someone is always natural, it is the original nature of the immortal soul.
This is the highest degree of love - it is devoid of the "expectation" of reciprocity on the part of the partner. A mother's true, selfless love for her children is also devoid of the expectation that the children must reciprocate. A mother simply loves, regardless of how the children treat her.
In Indian spiritual poetry, such love is expressed in one of the verses: "You may hide from me by not showing yourself to me, but that will not make my love for you dry up!" Why? Because the taste of love surpasses all expectations. And he who possesses it captivates everyone to whom this love is addressed, for true, unselfish Love is the highest value that captivates God Himself.
10 years of self discovery and questioning all things in this construct, then is when the twin flame aka divine masculine appeared under such synchronous circumstances, the dream goes on…. We never stop learning and discovering what the I/we is in the experience of creation.

2nd, "waiting" is a vague and seemingly incorrect word used in this case.
Because many people also accomplish the practices and goals mentioned, it woukd seem that rather than "waiting", the reference is to the sadness and longing one may experience in separation from the beloved.
This sadness and longing is not addressed. At the same time it is not unnatural as is insinuated.
The deeper ideological insinuation presented iis that people have no value save what ine chooses to give thek at any given time per one's desires.
Hence, relegating people to commodities.
