    Thank you so much for sharing that recipe. I am definitely going to make a batch of it. I have been trying to find a good shampoo recipe, but so many of them have super expensive oils and too many other ingredients.

    Hi Rose! Congrats to you and Nanah for the shop opening! I’ll be visiting. I have one question. Can you recommend a good essential oil supplier? Thanks!

    • @CadenceRoseco
      @CadenceRoseco  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you so much! Newdirectionsaromatics.com is a good place to check out. They also list usage rate charts! 💕

  • @Marie-4Him
    @Marie-4Him 5 месяцев назад +1

    Sorry for bothering you with so many questions. Putting the recipe through soap calc with the 42% lye strength indicates about 5.76 oz water needed. Do I simply substitute the water with ACV and keep all other amounts the same? edited Would you say this soap is good for all hair types or more specifically targeted to oily? I'm just learning about shampoo bars and how to customize the bars according to hair type. Thank you so much for this great recipe.

      I know everybody's hair is different but I would say this shampoo bar is great for all hair types. You can buy or make this soap, try it out, see how you like it and customize it if you would like! 💖

    Newbie here! Can’t wait to try this recipe. Probably a silly question but how much essential oil is used in this recipe? I don’t see a percentage, did I miss something?Thank you

    • @CadenceRoseco
      @CadenceRoseco  6 месяцев назад +1

      That's definitely not a silly question! I don't list the percentages of the essential oils because of the usage rate and how it can change. You can go to ifrafragrance.org (International Fragrance Association) and to the store that you got the essential oil and see if they provide a usage rate chart. I also have a video on the channel discussing this in more detail.💖

    Hello Rose👋 I just have a question I have already tried making shampoo bar for myself but while working with butters it gets hard so quick after melting it, and i can see your recipe is in liquid form for a longer time but when i tried my recipe got harden up within few seconds can you suggest me any tips that makes my recipe stay in liquid form for a long time. And how to work with butters. Please help me on this

    • @CadenceRoseco
      @CadenceRoseco  6 месяцев назад +1

      If your soap batter is getting hard that fast, it might be the essential oil causing a seize. For that I recommend adding your essential oil at emuIsion and blending lightly. For butters, I would suggest prepping your lye solution, letting it cool and also prepping anything else you want to put in the soap before melting the oils. You can lightly heat your liquid oils before combining them with your butters so they don't decrease the temperature of your butters. Cool butters can cause false trace so be careful about that. Good luck with your soaping!

    What if all these Shea and coconut oil are replaced by lard or any other animal fat?

    • @CadenceRoseco
      @CadenceRoseco  4 месяца назад +1

      You can customize the recipe in any way you would like, but you would have to run it through a soap calculator, you can’t just replace oils. soapcalc.net 💕

    How much apple cider vinegar and sugar did you use?

    • @CadenceRoseco
      @CadenceRoseco  Час назад

      For the sugar, I do one teaspoon per pound of oils dissolved in distilled water. And for the vinegar, I replace the whole water amount in my lye solution, so you will have to see what your specific recipe calls for!🩷🩷
