*I'm going to a comunity college to study one of the trades, (electrical, electrician) and I'm paying for it with financial aid (FAFSA) and I'm gonna be debt free.*
Well, no wonder you guys paid off your debt. You're basically making more than you have in debt. Can't possibly have that much in bills, so it shouldn't have been hard with some budgeting. My husband and I combined have an income of, like, $35,000 a year and a debt of $25,000 (school loans, medical bills, and a car loan) and it feels like forever for us to pay it off.
If you and your husband are working at least 40 hours a week like you should be, that would put you both at near minimum wage salary. You guys probably should seek better employment or pick up more hours at work to get your income up. If you guys have school loans, I assume you guys have some sort of education. You should be able to find a job that pays more than minimum wage with a college degree.
You really need to make more money. Sell the car. Buy a cheaper one cash. Call the hospital and ask if they have any programs to help people in your situation. Many do. But more than anything you need to make more money. That’s only $8 an hour if you both are working full time. If you have degrees there’s no reason you wouldn’t be able to get a job making $15 an hour. Even if you don’t. If you have work experience you can find better opportunities.
I believe she put them in debt because she talk to much and quick to say it’s both their faults instead of saying I was responsible for this and he was responsible for this and she’s long winded 😳
I need to get to this point hearing the debt free screams makes me want to cry
I hope you made it. I'll be on the show doing mine in November.
Well done to this young couple. They've set themselves and their child up for a happier life.

I know, but I got a Pell Grant.
*I wish I could be finished with my BA degree, but I'm applying for a graduate school this Fall! Like Mr. Ramsey says, CASH IS KING*
Is there a way to get a Pell Grant while not having a FAFSA loan?
El Muchacho Serio You are smart! Good luck.
Good job and in Seattle where it’s expensive to live
Well done and congratulations.
Dave - God Bless you, sir. You are doing God's work by helping so many get out of debt. End the fed, or the fed will end us. Taxation is theft.

No One I feel ya. We got bicycles and sold the car to get rid of a 70% of ours. And it will still take 10 more months to get out.
