Hi Josh thank you I greatly appreciate it DM me your info we are looking to purchase more properties in Puerto Rico would love another agent contact. Happy new year
Your husband is Puertorrican so you guys are locals!!! Congratulations and best wishes. The house needs a lot of work so much patience to you both. I do not gluttonous investors but mom and pops are all good!!! Love what you are doing!!!❤
Thank you so much for actually telling us the size and price. It's not about knowing how rich someone is, but as you know it's very hard to get an honest idea of the prices in PR. Almost nothing is online.
Hi your welcome, I’m so happy you looked at it that way, that’s exactly what I was hoping to convey. Three years we were looking and I could never find real information sometimes . That’s why I decided to start making videos about the process to help somebody else out.
You can get a decent house for around 120,000. But here we are not a segregated society. People are not segregated by race, but by income like in anywhere else in this planet.
I want to buy a house/property in Vega Baja too. I use to live in Vega Baja when I was a teenager and now I want to go back when I retire. But for now, I will Air BNB what ever property I purchase. Saving money to buy cash too.
Thank you so much for your testimony and overall journey! I’ve thought about it since COVID and you helped to put it more in perspective! Thank you for the resources as well and I am excited to see your progress! God bless 🤍
I have so many updates coming. Sorry with having three kids, It’s so difficult to film. I’m so happy that you found the videos helpful. If you ever have any questions definitely reach out it’s a journey by the island is definitely worth it.
Hi, thank you so much for watching my videos. It is actually still coming along finally was able to find a trusted contractor were working on the structure because they built the second floor illegally and it’s not sound so that’s what I’ve been dealing with plus the fact of living in the states is a little difficult to go back and forth . But my husband father lives on the island he’s been there for years and he’s been kind of helping us out when he can. He’s not in good health.
@@JessicaDessus Good morning! I can imagine. But I’m excited for you guys. I’ve been looking to buy as well but there are so many things to take in consideration since I also live in the states. But keep us posted. I love my island and I travel there often. I have family and friends still there. I was born here but raised there. I have great memories!!!!! Keep going girl! At the end of this journey y’all will enjoy it all.
I welcome you and your family to la ciudad del meleo melao. Vega Baja sugarcane municipality one of the most kept secret on the northern coast of the island far from everything and near to everything. a lot of upcoming commercial development happening. Vega Baja is a very unique town a lot of state side residents quietly are moving into this municipality. Vega Baja beach is one of the best. you picked a very good place for your residence. just don't let state side people know your discovery.✌👊
Your newest subscriber here👍🏿.Congratulations so happy for you guys, yes and things are way different in Puerto. To God be the glory, we bought couple of land there and it is very hard to get a loan in Puerto Rico. I own a construction company and we are coming down there to start build our house and doing some construction for other folks.
Thank you so much for the comment. I really appreciate it and wow that’s amazing. Definitely have to keep in touch. DM me on Instagram your contact because we’re starting construction 2023. @jessicadessus
As a Puerto Rican, I just want to say that you are beautiful and your husband and the Island is lucky to have you. So many college educated natives left the island to the mainland and so I say the island needs more highly intelligent nice people like you. I wish you great success and prosperity on the island of Puerto Rico, Dios de bendiga!!! 🇵🇷☀️🏝️
Thank you so much I really appreciate it!! It’s so unfortunate that a lot of the natives have to leave the island to have better opportunities when it comes to a career, because this place is heaven on earth. We’re so excited about this journey and I really appreciate the kind words.
@@JessicaDessus This is on purpose. The government (per USA's request} has been trying to push us out for a long time so they are letting the systems that keep our society running to break down and push us to leave. Notice how easy it is for gringos to move here and buy land while natives are being shut out. Notice how the laws are favoring Americans while discriminating against natives. Notice how any native that protests gets beaten up, shot at, and arrested on false charges to silence them. Also notice all the new construction for Americans is taking place where archeological sites and historic buildings once stood. What is happening here is ethnic cleansing. 😭
I stumbled upon this property that we owned on Zillow and I didn’t find out that it was a foreclosure on by the bank until I was at the closing. But a lot of the real estate agents know which ones are owned by banks.
That’s good angle undeveloped or totally abandoned homes. 200 acres wow 😳🙌🏾. Getting it financed may have some challenges or if your doing cash is it livable? I would enter the address (coordinates are more accurate) in google earth. I did that for our 8 acres to see the hills and the flat land. To get a better understanding of that us to come.
@@JessicaDessus yea, I would go up there, almost all the plots I saw had small dirt roads you could get up. I’d be more of permanent-camping in a small yurt. Basically like a hippie 😂

That depends of what you are looking for....Looking for retiring???? But here all the peple and all the legal paper is in spanish I am not a broker nor a realtor...
Hi Michael my husband’s mother and father was born their and his father still lives there 🤔🥴😏 soooo what are you talking about. This land is his and hell it’s mine too WE BOUGHT 👍🏾😎. And yes everybody wanna live in PR now it’s beautiful. BLESSINGS Hope you learned something and maybe you can buy something too soon!!!
Dude, what about the millions of Puerto Ricans that have fled to the US, for whatever reason, to take advantage of all it has to offer. There are now more Puerto Ricans on the mainland than there are in Puerto Rico. And not all of us who come here to live in PR are here to run from paying taxes or to gentrify up the place. Some of us simply love this magical island and we want to have a tiny little piece so that we can enjoy and contribute in any positive way. I live here now and I just want to share in the magic, but also help in any way I can. Stop hating on good people.
If you look in my Puerto Rico playlist under the videos and description, I list my agents information she actually has a RUclips channel and my attorney.
Thanks for the info, Jessica. It's beneficial for the folk with plans to get a property in Puerto Rico. I cannot wait to see what you do with all that terrain. Please, keep us informed, and good luck.
I agree, at the end of the day you gottta do whats in the best interest to your family. Thanks for being open about this purchase.

I was looking at just undeveloped land it seemed really cheap, I saw 200 acres of uncut jungle for $230,000 seems like a deal to me!

Sounds like a scam. No way you getting 299 acres for that. 1 acre is already 100k easily
What part of the island would you recommend to purchase property ?
Hi Timothy, first off the whole island is amazing and whether you’re purchasing for investment or personal use really would determine whats the best.
Guaynabo.
Rio Grande.
Carolina.
Humacao.
Fajardo.
Arecibo.
Bayamón.
Aguadilla.
Luquillo
We purchased in Vega Baja 30 mins from San Juan.

I almost have to have the cash amount of the property I pay for then in PR.:(
Hi happy the video was helpful, yeah in PR cash is the best and fastest way to purchase. To acquire a loan and going through inspections is so tedious
