Mom guilt is totally normal! At the end of the day you know whats best for your child and i’m so glad to hear that mint is feeling better! It will be a hard shift back to work but the more you do it the better you’ll feel
The best mom always has “mom guilt” and there’s no ultimate tip for that. Just keep doing what you guys are doing as parents and you as a working woman; that guilt will always be there, but will get easier the older your baby gets.

It’s so nice too hear you are finally taking some time to yourself! The mom guilt is a struggle for real! My daughter is 12 and I still get mom guilt when me and my husband have date nights. But it is very important to have that time for yourself and your significant other. Y’all are doing an amazing job! She’s such a cutie!

As a mum of 3 girls and with my first I was the same like you.. it’s all new and it’s quite stressful. I think it all comes down to your own ‘mindset ‘ don’t be too uptight and just try to relax about all of it, enjoy the moment.. 💕 it’s gets easier and easier 💕💕💕
Romee and Laurens are one of the best parents a child could ever ask for. Mint is really the luckiest baby to have been blessed with such amazing parents. And yes, we're really glad to hear of Mint's recovery❤️❤️❤️✨
I’m so glad Mint is doing better!! It must have been so scary. I remember being at working, in the same state, and getting a call that something happened to my daughter and it was the most terrifying experience of my life (she’s completely fine). Mom guilt is so hard!!

Having raised my sons and juggled a career for most of that, I would say balance and perfection are myths. Just do what you can and try not to feel guilty with having a life away from Mint. I firmly believe that if you can maintain your own interests, whether that is a career or hobbies, in addition to raising your children, they will thank you for it later and you will maintain your sanity longer!

Hey Romee! Absolutely love you! I would recommend expressing and working through the guilt and then deciphering the consequences you feel on both sides, which can tell you about your choices. Also, combining work and me time so it's more integrated feels helpful for me! For example, knowing that I am investing in me time is still work because it will show up in your work life or home life. You're such an inspiration

I think mom guilt is totally normal and time/experience is the only cure. My only piece of advice would be to promote self soothing around this time. This is when the parent allows the baby to cry and doesn't fuss or immediately go check on them if they wake up in the night. Might sound a little strange to go against your mom instinct but ultimately if she is fine on the baby monitor, it's okay to let her cry it out and fall back asleep on her own. It will create for healthier sleeping habits and she won't feel as upset when you are at work or out and about
