      @ioanvladescu5987 4 месяца назад +23

      @@befeleme And he’s right about that, China is collapsing. But it’s a process that takes time and that’s also reversible in some cases. He could probably put more emphasis on the timeline, because people who don’t listen to his long-format discussions and just see snipets online have the impression that he’s talking about things happening suddenly, which on a geopolitical scale rarely do. When talking about China or the war in Ukraine, he’s always had the backup scenario for his main assumption. His invalidation scenario, if you will.
      Even Polybius, the greek historian, predicted the fall of the Roman Empire from ancient times. It took however some 500-600 years for that to actually occur, and to this day scholars debate when this collapse ended, even though we can all certainly state that the Roman Empire is no more.
      I’m not saying he’s right on everything. He’s had some wild takes on some subjects he knows little about at a fundamental level (crypto, minorities in Europe, etc) where I can tell you he’s flat out wrong, but he does back up his claims with facts. It’s just that, in some cases, those “facts” are outdated or his sources are wrong.
      But when it comes to China and Russia, I think he’s right. Depopulation is a real thing, and countries that are willing to start wars and voluntarily waste human life don’t understand the danger. We’re not in the 1900’s anymore. There might not be a new generation to replace the one killed on a battlefront. And we don’t have robots yet to replace people in most jobs. And because of the nature of war (defender’s advantage), peaceful countries will be on the winning side. From my POV, depopulation is such a serious existential threat that there’s no single geopolitical or strategic resource that’s worth pursuing at the risk of killing your population. That’s why I belive Russia is doomed to fail, and why China is thinking twice about invading Taiwan.

      He fully expected Russia to roll through Ukraine like they did with Crimea. Once they failed at their initial attack, this made the West realize that Russia was not that strong which was dangerous because they had nukes.
      The fact that Putin even mentions nukes shows how weak he is because he cannot win against the West in a conventional war.
      So the Wedt is using Ukraine as a proxy to run Russia through the meat grinder. The more Russians that die, the less they have to continue moving westward.

The US is sending old barely functioning equipment, that is if through corruption it even manages to reach the Ukraine army. Ukraine is out of manpower (not Russia) which is a consequence of dum dum military tactics of Ukraine; without any strategy throwing everyone into the meat grinder that then gets blown up by missiles. And even if this war escalates.... based on the military capabilities of both Russia and China.... the US would lose. Perhaps if it were the 90's or early 2000's, the situation would be different, but it's as clear as day that the US cannot fight a full on war with another serious power, one of the other superpowers. 'Russia fights in waves.....' Yeah mate, it's not 1943. Russia has the most advanced and only battle-tested defensive/offensive ISR system in the world. They've been researching ISR warfare since the 1970s, and thanks to the last 2 years they have now perfected it: they are down from 1.5 hours average position and return strikes at the start of this conflict, to under 3 mins.
    They have created a 'meatgrinder' that has been utterly impenetrable to the Ukrainians and has resulted in 600,000 Ukrainian deaths and over 1 million incapacitating injuries.
    Also, Russia has ramped up their production so efficiently that they recently moved from 8th strongest economy to 4th. They have MASSIVE amounts of natural resources and the ridiculous U.S sanctions has strengthened the Russian position and only weakened the U.S.
    I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that, NO, Russia isn't 'done'. To make a statement like this means that you are either a paid shill, you are delusional, or you haven't the slightest clue what is going on in this conflict and the geo-political implications surrounding it.

If you think the goal was to 'conquer' all of Ukraine then I'm afraid you don't know what the conflict is about. And yes, the defensive ISR system has achieved exactly what it's supposed to: inflicted very high casualties on Ukraine (7:1 mortality rates for most of the war) and make it impossible for Ukraine to advanced in any meaningful way or penetrarte the defensive line. The meat grinder I spoke about above. People need to wake up to the truth of what's been happening.

Its hard to argue with facts, in fact it must be quite frustrating for you. Perhaps the US should mind their own business re Europe and not attempt to expand NATO towards Russia. The Russians, not just Putin, made it quite clear that a NATO Ukraine would not be tolerated. They were true to their word. But what does the US care its mostly only Ukrainian lives being lost , about 500,000 at this point. Notice how Zehan never talks about this. Never one bit of criticism towards US policy - not one word.

Meanwhile, active deceit is surely worthy of the title “Public Enemy #1,” wherever it originates. Lies and false beliefs defeat intelligence. Garbage in, garbage out. Perhaps when the cost of deceit rises high enough, its uses will finally fail & fall as they should.

Being an eCONomist, he's shilling for the same financial powers behind all wars. Don't believe me - go do the math. Run time value of money equations for future value, etc. For any given interest rate there is a point in time when the aggregate obligation (principal and interest) exceeds the whole set of money tokens. Thus making it IMPOSSIBLE for all to repay their creditors. This is why USURY has been denounced for "only" 3500 years. And Zeihan is shilling for THEM.

      the chess move is that russia wants to "visit/enter" ukraine and ukraine just wants to defend itself... i.e. staying put and repel approaching threats again this doesnt mean make long sling shots even if russians can... russians must have to put boots on ground. Now all ukraine/F16s have to do is take target acquisitions from say patriot batteries and avoid those air ambush traps using an/ale-50 like towed decoys ... and since amraams specially aim-120-c block-5 to aim-120-d and onwards are the gold standard.. when r37 and family were suckling on pacifiers; aim 120c onwards were on hunting-gatherer duty for the families (nations) who had them.. so said towed decoys will be smart enough to lure the r37m ... aim--260 is already developed and spine-chilling SM6 is test fired via F18 and could be rushed to F16 ... air launched SM6 is a game at another level of sublime.... its just for these skirmishes but for taiwan defense..... F16s have lower RCS than SUs and su30/SU-any with twin engine are like light-houses to even aim-120d ..... my guess is F16 wont be lost to r37 but few to serbian style use of s400 ... so again F16s should operate in cover of CRAMs/Phalanx more than Patriots or F16s duck down in their coverage area keeping the towed decoy extended... I am not seeing CRAMs/Phalanx in considerable use yet ...to me because of their more "contained" radar and fire apparatus; it has many merits over soccer field size components placement for Patriot (s400 too though)...
