My ten stages of spit are formed by a long narrow beach and a shingle attached to the end1. 2. An example of a spit is in devon bay. England and due to prevailing wind brings rainfull and bfings chemicial weathering and brings a most commond direct threat 3. Due to the estuary the deposits melt and the longshore drift carries the material and this is the beginning of a formation of a spit4. Over time the spi will become longer and longer

The water behing the spit is helterd and has low energy , because of the water behind the spit and having the low enery the materials deposits and longshore drifts will cary a sediment to allow the swash to say at an angle and the back swash or back wash to stay at an agle to a right.

Yep swash is at an angle backwash or back swash is at a straight angle to a right

Wait a minute, this is for GCSE level? I am in grade 8 and this is too little to explain anything that I have learned. In this grade, I have learned way more than this.

this is basic stuff you learn earlier on in school - its a very small part of gcse geography but you need to know the basics before you can move on lol
