Well done.
I came here for Jason Ritter (the guy dancing) because he plays Dipper in Graivty Falls, but this was actually a really neat song.
I came to this video because a friend sent me a video of one of their "van" performances. I loved the raw sound of that and the live concert video which was terrific. This sounds nothing like that. It sounds like that pop country music, and well, I'm just not a fan. To each their own, but I sure like the live sound and musicians in the band being heard as well as her unfiltered voice.
Their older stuff is better, for sure. And now that The Gramblers are done, Nicki is flying solo and getting back to her original sound. Check her out! ruclips.net/video/JHiyeMZcCPQ/видео.html

The guy you see here is Jason Ritter, Son of late actor, John Ritter. Jason appears in ABC's Kevin Saves The World, Probably!
holy shit is this ever polished. my god, that vocal tone is so clear it's almost transparent. does every vocal part need a u87 with a clean pre?? you're real people, arent you? who made all the very sincere tour videos where you film performances in your car? that's you? i'd like to see you. the actual people. with some actual fucking personality. this is a god damned country pop b side, and you did yourself a disservice by making it.
I'm a huge fan of these guys, but I don't like this song. It sounds like Sheryl Crowe doing the theme from "Friends". Overproduced, sugary sweet...none of the things that made me a fan in the first place.

T&AHM = Two and a Half Men. Couldn't be bothered writing it at the time haha.
I have returned to see the progress. It seems it never really took off. I can only imagine the thoughts running through ya'lls heads when this didn't work with the "Van" fans! And yet you continue to persevere! Hell yeah Gramblers!! Hell yeah!!!
Great voice! She should cover Karen Carpenter songs. She got the look and the voice to pull it off in a big way.
