- Ireland South needs a representative in Europe to call out the disparity between what is being said and what is being done on the environment and sustainable energy.
Not only does Michael McNamara deserve to be elected in Ireland South but we need to endeavour as a collective to have him top the poll..A clear message has to be sent to the dysfunctional establishment..
Wouldn’t we be better off him not scooting off to Europe? Someone needs to keep holding this shower to account in government

May be a few other good independants there but the ones above are all candidates that have put the work in when it wasnt being recognised they had our backs before we had theirs. A couple of them are legally qualified which is almost a must have for dealing with european law and bureaucracy.

Government pushing heat pumps, we installed one and if I could change to oil in the morning I would, a plumber said he can see endless problems with them down the road.
what are the problems you are finding with the heat pump? be interesting to know, for people who are getting told they are good to get

@@CastleHassall Renovated an old bungalow some years ago but only moved in since March, I do not like that you can’t control the heating like with an oil boiler, also all electric obviously so if electric goes off one has nothing. We have had a few issues where it stopped working, we were very lucky to find a helpful service man who helped me to get it up and running by turning off and on again. This time he has to come out and hopefully he will sort, personally I would not recommend this system at all. We are fortunate that we bought a Stanley that is solid fuel and in cold weather it is needed to heat up the room to make comfortable. Keep cutting the turf as if they stop us, people will not be able to keep warm with this air to water heat pump system, also the cost of electricity is soaring. Climate Change is a con job and people need to wake up.
