Thank you for this video. I ordered the item but was unable to hear the sound after connecting. So was thinking to return the item. But then I came across this video and understood that it was the sound setting (PCM) which was not set which caused the issue. Resolved now.

In direct optical connection it will pass approximate 384 Kbits/second Bandwidth & in aux connection it will below 150 Kbits/second Bandwidth

Bibhu ji, sab TV me aysa nehi hota. Koi koi TV me Optical port me Soundbar connect karne ke baad, TV ke Sound Output option me ja kar SPDIF or Digital Output ko choose karna parta hai. Tab soundbar me awaj ata hai. Aur tab TV ke internal Speaker me sound nehi rahta.

Hi Sir, I have a Moto Tv with optical audio output and a Sony Bravia 5.1 Home theatre( bit older). It has only RCA L/R input and One 3.5 mm Audio IN jack. My question: is there a way to hear a 5.1 CH with this setup, using any converter? Or of whether the converter converts to L/R or a 3.5mm jack, the sound will only remain STEREO and the Dobly DTS (which both TV and home theater support) will be lost?

@@sahootechnoguide my home theatre is 5.1 i have 4 satelite speakes with one centre speaker and a big woofer.only thing is it doesnt have digital audio input like optical or hdmi in because it is bit older.So wanted to check if is there any way to produce 5.1 effect as i think all the converters when they convert from digital to analog remove 5.1 encoding and make it sterio (2.1)it seems

For a digital connection, your TV and soundbar/Home theatre must have Digital connection port
and you have to connect it on Optical or HDMI arc
