Rock Youth | One Body One Church: Salvation by Grace

Through the ministry of Christ, salvation has been made accessible to the Gentiles. When salvation was thought to be through the Law and only for the Jews, the Pharisees wielded supreme authority by adding works to grace. In response to this, the Jerusalem Council is held, and through the efforts of the apostles, most notably Peter and James, it is decided that Gentiles are not required to follow the Law, for their salvation is through faith and not works. We serve a God who looks past our works and sins and only wants a loving relationship with His people, but this can only be possible through faith in Jesus alone. Join us this week as we look to unpack God’s grace and how our relationship with him will produce works in view of his love.
