    • @Imma_Gee

Kyrie 45 % KD 40% Management 15% - Kyrie sabotaged the project with his indifference to the process, KD refused to hold Kyrie accountable, and management allowed it to get out of hand. This episode of Kyrie/KD proves Chuck absolutely right in that KD was a bus rider ESPECIALLY considering KD also had a championship roster in OKC, let's not forget that. If Lebron went to GSW right now or at the beginning of last season, he would've been a bus rider while maybe being the best player on the team BECAUSE GSW didn't need you to compete and possibly win a championship. Russell Westbrook actually spoke about this and KD already when discussing him leaving OKC.

KD is actually the best robin in history. He himself stated when he went to GS he just wanted to hoop without the pressure of leading because it wasn't fun. Get KD an actual leader in the locker room that won't take the spotlight or care about it (like a billups or Manu) and you will see the nets compete for championships.

I think the Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irvin situation with the Nets offers yet another cautionary tale for young people starting out in life, whatever field they get into.
And that is: Don't chase friendship in business!
In other words: it's probably almost always a bad idea to go into business with a close friend. Why?
Because of the tendency to think that Friendship Conquers All!
You will think: my friend will do right by me in this business of ours!
Your friend will think: my friend won't do me dirty in this business of ours!
The two of you are likely to have very different ideas about what that means.
And when the business fails, the friendship could be irrevocably damaged because each friend feels Personally betrayed by the other; and they blame each; but you two were never on the same page about business to start with.

Kyrie’s at fault lmfao why’s that so hard to believe? Kyrie was gonna do Kyrie no matter who told him to stand up straight. I love KD, my fav player of all time: I said it when he first signed with BKYN: He was never going to win a championship there. I said it when Kyrie started missing games: KD’s out, no way he’s staying. Go to Denver my guy, win a few with Jokic.

This Batman and Robin thing is getting out of hand. Superstars are all batman. Robins are all-stars or players that can't reach a certain level of play in big games. I thought Kyrie dropped almost 40 game 1 of the Boston series. KD struggled and they lost game 1. That was the series. Kyrie deferred to Kd after that and it didn't work. Lebron recognized that Kyrie can get it done if u let him loose. They still will be the the favorites if he gets resigned

Kyrie before Lebron: 0 playoff games
    Kyrie since leaving Lebron:
17-18: Injured before playoffs, team makes ECF without him.
18-19: Historically bad series vs Milwaukee, shoots 33% FG and 19% 3PT, loses round two, leaves team.
19-20: Plays 20 games with losing record, doesn’t play in playoffs for Nets who made it despite him playing 20 games.
20-21: Gets injured in playoffs, loses round two. Losing record without Harden all year.
21-22: Plays 20 games with losing record, gets swept first round and averages 15.3 PPG on 37% FG in the last 3/4 games.
He would be Walmart Tracy McGrady without Lebron, Harden, and Durant

It’s not Kevin Durant’s fault, because this is not who Kevin Durant is. He is not a Tom Brady or a LeBron James. I’m talking about leadership qualities, not talent.
And as Joyce says, the bulk of this falls on Kyrie because he is the one doing the actions. He is the one that keeps dropping off the court for various reasons.

There’s a lot o assuming on this subject about KD. How do we know KD didn’t drW the line and say “he brother, we are trying to win a championship. We can’t do it without you I as the leader and the rest of this team needs you or go home and stay out of our way and don’t be a distraction”. Then Kyrie replies, “sorry bro, but I don’t trust this vaccination process and I value my health, so I am NOT getting vaccinated”. Therefore, if this happened KD has zero power to make another grown man do what he wants him to do period! So STOP IT🛑
