Well done and thanks, Legion Games did a trio of games on the American Indian wars that are quite good, and fun to play. Well worth looking at if you loke that period of history games.
I've owned and played this game for several years now. I did my own youtube review in which I was somewhat critical of the historicity or perhaps of the game as a simulation. Since then I've learnt to play the games "as games", not to try and "replay" historical events. The game can be played successfully solo i.m.h.o., as there is a "chit-pull" system that determines what and when you can move and attack with. My son and I find we need to set aside a good 2-3 hours for each game. I found there was a little confusion/contradiction in the rules regarding movement (cost of movement points to enter different types of terrain), but nothing that "breaks the game". Like yourself I really enjoy the production values. With the 150th anniversary of these battles in a few years, I'm hoping to see some big miniature games of such be produced. Cheers.
Thanks for watching and your very informative comments. Looking forward to playing this one very soon and hoping for some related releases as the anniversary approaches. I have always been attracted to the command post games offering but us to uk is a no go these days with postage :)
@prasutagustheorwellwargamer Postage to Aus from the U.S. is also prohibitively expensive. I try to buy hobby items from the U.K. as the postage is far more reasonable. Cheers.
Thanks for an unboxing. The game looks really interesting and as usual, great quality from Worthington. Just a pity that their games are so expensive over in the UK 😐
