Deadpan humor can work live. Plenty of successful comedians have done it. Mitch Hedberg was brilliant at it. Red Fox too. But Bobby Althoff isnt them.

It’s no one’s “fault”. They tried it, her content wasn’t translating, so he gave her feedback on adjustments to connect better. But she wasn’t willing to. Touring isn’t the place for your mental health issues unfortunately. It’s a lot of ppl who paid money, traveled, and scheduled off work…etc, then you got the whole crew who probably declined other jobs thinking the tour was secure…then you yourself have taken time out for this tour.
