At least I know that the memorable ones, i.e. both this one and "All By Myself" will remain in the memories of many. I had never heard a cover of yours so often if it weren't for the repeated times my mom would make me hear the original track, one (if not her favorite) of Eric Carmen's musical pieces. Of course, not all the credit can go to him, since behind a great artist is a series of producers and composers who take care of the instrumental work or the lyrics, but this and many other songs are easily recognizable by his distinctive voice, and that's what makes them timeless classics.
