This brings back wonderful memories. A friend of mine used to lead this song in our youth choir. Unsure where she is now, but I hope she is okay. Frankly, I never knew Ron Winans wrote this song, and as I watch more and more old footage, I feel sad knowing that he is no longer here. I do not know the precise nature of his health struggle because his death was a bit before my time. However, I am sure he had much more to offer the world, and I am sure there far more life for him to live. A sobering reminder that we need to make sure that we do not take our health for granted and that we do take care of ourselves. 😞
