I think in about 2 or 3 years from now, he will be ready. There is a big hole in Devin's defence which Tank will exploit very badly. Although, he managed the hole in the fight against Loma, better than he had ever done in all his previous fights. I won't mention the hole in here because you never know who might be reading this post. That is the only weakness I see in his fight thus far. Very few of those body shots were proper clean. Haney is 100% a hype train. He caught those belts when they were with some weak fighters. If Loma gets that rematch, he figures Haney out earlier and leaves everyone in no doubt. As that fight wore on Loma was taking control. Either way I agree with Bradley, shakur beats them all.

Haney is a hall of fame boxer and surrounded by southpaws. What great fighter had to go through a Loma, Shakur, and Tank Davis type competition . They all SOUTHPAWS.
The problem with Loma is this. He's great, but he isn't the guy Old Media has been selling us. Salido proved it. Yet, ESPN and many others wanted to act as if that loss didn't happen. Then, for many fights, Loma's opponents were carefully picked to make him look good. Yes, he made decent work of those guys, but it's clear that a B+ skill set can beat him if they turn on the gas in the very beginning. Loma is known to cruise the first half of the fight and turn things up as needed in the second half. We've found out twice now that this method is ineffective against top-tier opposition. Loma lost and lost definitively. Yes, he had a few shots that snapped Haney's had back, but you can't win rounds with a couple of put shots and a flurry here and there. He waited too long to be dominant. He should've shown his superiority from round one. He didn't do that. Thus, again, he lost!

Haney had some nice uppercuts too. He kept a safe distance where Lomas reach fell short and tied him up when ever Loma got in close. Loma did do good when he closed in though... Lomachenko needed the final round to be all him but Devin didn't let that happen. I thought it should've ended in a draw.

Very few of those body shots were proper clean. Haney is 100% a hype train. He caught those belts when they were with some weak fighters. If Loma gets that rematch, he figures Haney out earlier and leaves everyone in no doubt. As that fight wore on Loma was taking control. Either way I agree with Bradley, shakur beats them all.

He had to do more if he wanted to take the belts off of an American champion, in his own backyard with a American judges. Should have done more in the middle rounds if he wanted to take the decision beyond reasonable doubt. But he certainly wasnt beaten.

The problem with Loma is this. He's great, but he isn't the guy Old Media has been selling us. Salido proved it. Yet, ESPN and many others wanted to act as if that loss didn't happen.
Then, for many fights, Loma's opponents were carefully picked to make him look good. Yes, he made decent work of those guys, but it's clear that a B+ skill set can beat him if they turn on the gas in the very beginning. Loma is known to cruise the first half of the fight and turn things up as needed in the second half.
We've found out twice now that this method is ineffective against top-tier opposition. Loma lost and lost definitively. Yes, he had a few shots that snapped Haney's had back, but you can't win rounds with a couple of put shots and a flurry here and there.
He waited too long to be dominant. He should've shown his superiority from round one. He didn't do that. Thus, again, he lost!
Yet Haney has fought the Tougher opponents and won. Folks hating on Haney for beating Loma, because they think Loma did great for 3 rounds.
