i dont think its a set level it all depends on the sound you're going for, make sure you make beats with speakers so you can get a live idea of how it will sounds, for me the earphones be fucking it up and then the mix be muddy, i like loud hats, snare and clap but i need all the low end out of the melos so the 808 hit hard.
@@thrillamoe50 I agree. It's not a real "set level" honestly getting a good consistent mix takes time and practice. Having a good set of monitors is definitely a major key. Avoid monitors with a lot of bass(like those krk's) just make sure your gain staging properly before routing to mixer.
@@prodbychop listening to it again now i think he just copied the original hat pattern and shifted it down a couple notes and a little to the right to make it offset. It’s the same pattern playing. Acts like a delay but just manually done

still cant figure out if the theres 2 different hihats or he used some effect on the first one , help
He just put a halftime/grossbeat on the hats and put the effect on 50% so half the hats plays slow & the other half plays normal
Or some typa delay
@ I recreated the drum pattern on my own but thanks for the tip, will try it out
@@EgelundBidk bro i tried making it with the effects but just cant get it right
