And South of Midnight when the gameplay shot popped up, it shocked me how good the. motion and fun of the game was shown to be!
Zombies has quite a few modes over the years but since like BO3 its been getting further and further from what traditional round-based zombies was, especially in recent years with things like Outbreak, DMZ, Cranked, and such. I am so glad to hear its coming back and I hope they do it justice.
@CC-of5xl I get not liking True Colours, but LIS2 was still made by the OG devs and had the heart of a true LIS game. Not to mention its political commentary was actually great, especially at the time.
@martinchuma yeah part of dropping it was the political commentary. It felt like the game was just a platform. Modern video game writers seem to lack the important qualities needed to implement those types of topics. If you feel preached at or if it feels over the top it'll have the opposite effect of the intent. Dragon Age(which was also shown in this) is a prefect example of this. The 1st game had alot of progressive ideals especially for a fantasy world but they were handled very well so almost nobody complained. With Dragon Age Inquisition alot of people complained because those same themes were handled very poorly.
@CC-of5xl I hear this talking point all the time, but the politics of LIS2 were literally just a realistic depiction of the life of mexican minorities in the US. You feel preached to because you are privileged enough to not face those things on a daily basis, so you feel it's "overdone", but literally just listen to or read the real stories of these groups, and you'll soon realize that that's just life, it's inherently political.
stalker came out first than Metro but both follow similar paths, a nuclear disaster, and both are based on real novels written, one on the surface of Charnobyl and the other in the dark subways of Moscow. They were also the same developers of Stalker who made Metro 2033

personally, the first 15-20 hours were pretty good, but after like 30-50 hours the game becomes way to easy on the highest difficulty and you realize how dumb the ai is, also exploring is ridiculously repetitive. but its still an ok game.
8:40 TPS = Third Person shooter. I can't believe what they did to Dragon Age. What they showed is a travestie. This is NOT Dragon Age! That looks like some looter shooter garbage. The Music is off, the graphics are off, these characters are WAY off - everything about this trailer is so not Dragon Age. And to make things even worse: It seems they're going for action combat now which is so bad! DA MUST not have some garbage action combat! And what the bloody hell is this artstyle. That looks like a wannabe Fable. Dragon Age is supposed to look more real, dark and gritty, not cartoonish! 11:35 Believe me - these characters look like garbage. This is NOT how Dragon Age should look like!

Apparently from people who have played the new Dragon Age the trailer didn't do it justice. The one guy I saw say it has been critical of recent Bioware so I guess that's a good sign. Although personally I'd argue that trailer fit Inquisition. Dragon Age already lost it's edge. Inquisition was generic modern high fantasy.

It’s crazy because the characters are in low frames, but the environment around them is running at 60fps. Personally, I love it.
